Love Everlasting
Love that is kind and gentle,
love that is pure and true.
That is love everlasting.
That is me and you.
I loved the soul inside
and the soul is all I need.
A single sign from you
and my heart would cease to bleed.
Our undying love prevails,
for I shall never forget
the moments that we shared.
They may be the best things yet.
Forever was a promise,
not easily ignored.
We shall meet again one day,
in the mercy of the lord.
Right now we can not embrace.
Together we cannot be.
But we are connected at the heart,
Something special, just you and me.
