Warning:
If you have not yet read the first book to this series, True Brother, I suggest you do so first. This summary contains spoilers of that book.
You have been warned!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It all started when I was five. Dad came home from the bar one night, drunk. He shot my mom with a gun he stole from a police officer. He murdered her. And didn't care.
My 7 year old brother came to me and took me out of the house, away from our insane parent. We ran to the police station, and tried our best to describe what had happend with our primitive vocabulary to the officers. He was arrested. I haven't seen him since.
Jason and I were sent to live in an orphanage until Jason turned 18, when he could legally live on his own and care for me. We now live in an apartment in Texas, where I have a job at Fannie May's. Now, Jason also has a job. He's a Minecraft YouTuber, as they call them. MinecraftUniverse. Ever heard of him?
There was a new kid at school, one day. I decided to be daring, (which used to be a very rare thing for me), and talked to him. Now, he's my boyfriend, but let's not get ahead of ourselves.
I met a few girls in an art club at school. They were extremely welcoming and friendly, and we started a mosaic project together. We never did finish that project...
With new friends, I felt brave. I felt confident. Then, it all went downhill from there.
After an amazing first date with Adam, the boy I'd met on that day when it all began, I was told Jason was not my brother. I was taken away and put into an Orphanage, where I gained another amazing friend. We ended up escaping that dump, killing the Orphanage owner in the process, and made it home.
But that wasn't the end of it. I saw Jason smiling when I returned, but it wasn't at me. I believed he had forgotten me. I was dumb, and because of it I fell out of a window.
After getting better at the hospital, I was taken by a man, claiming to be my uncle even though he really wasn't, and was brought back to his home. He forced me to work, yelled at me, and almost gave me to his son as a birthday present.
Almost, but not quite.
Luckily, Jason arrived just in time to save me from that monster. He took me to a friend of his, a girl named Bo. I'm still not sure how they met, but Jason seemed to have a connection with her. It was strange...indescribable...
So let's just move on. She came with us for other unknown reasons and soon enough, we were home. We were happy.
Until my birthday, that is. Of course, like any other cliche story, my friends got into a car accident. But it's not like I controlled it. I'm fact, it was a pretty terrible day for me, because later on I learned that my brother had lung cancer.
Happy birthday, Alyssa, your brother is going to die!
Although, I've made a promise. For the sake of both of us, I was going to stay strong.
I would be a true sister, and I guess that's all that truly matters at the moment.
Well, now you're all caught up. Great. So, let me whisk you right on into my story. Our story.
Let's just hope it doesn't involve any more windows.
So, this is the summary of the sequel to True Brother! Like I said before, if you haven't read the first book, I suggest you do. This story might not make much sense, seeing as I probably didn't do too good of a job summarizing what happened.
The first chapter was supposed to come out today, but I had play practice until 5:30, and I wasn't able to start my load of homework until 6:30.
I apologize for the delay in updating. I'll try to get the first chapter out tonight, but it will most likely come out tomorrow. I'm sorry to those of you who have been waiting...
Blame my teachers. :P
