War? You bet!

Skylynn's POV

I studied the layout of the Dawn Moon land. It wasn't very big, it would be easy to take. I'm definitely sure about this. "Dad, can you call war on them?" I had gotten used to this already and everything felt familiar. My father nodded. "Of course, Skye." They deserve more than that but I'll settle for war. It felt like I was Alpha instead of my dad.

Haha. "Beta Albert," I had learned his name about an hour ago. Not hard to remember. "Start training the pack warriors for battle." I ordered. He nodded and left the room. I guess I have Alpha blood. "Skye?" I heard a female voice say from the doorway. I  turned to face the new arrival, who was female. "Yes?" I answered.

This woman looked like me with my dark red hair and tan skin. Only she had blue eyes. "Skye? It really is you! oh how much I missed you!" She gave me a hug. It was real awkward with this random person hugging me. Wait, it's my mom. That explains a lot. "Er, hi mom." I said quietly. My mother continued to strangle- erm, hug- me."Mom, can't breathe! busy!" I managed to choke out.

She released me. "Sorry Skye. I haven't seen you in so long. Well, get back to what you're working on." She said quietly. I felt bad but there are more important things at hand. "When should the attack be?" my dad said once my mom had left. " 5 days from now with no warning." I replied. Kiss my @ss Alpha Tyler.

After the war meeting I went into the kitchen to grab a snack when I ran into somebody on their way out. "Oh, sorry!" I said and picked up the lucky charms box he had left with. "Here." I handed it back to him. I looked at him. I could tell he was a high ranking person. "Thanks." he replied looking me in the eyes. I felt sparks and I knew it was the mate pull.

I asked quietly. "Can you feel it? the mate pull?" he nodded. Oh my god I found my mate! so exciting!! "My name is Myron, I'm the beta's son." odd name, Myron. Oh well, what can you do? He held out a hand to help me up and I accepted it. I felt tingles and sparks throughout my entire body. "Wow. Our mate." my wolf, Star said in my head.

" Wow indeed."

"C'mon! make the most of it."

"Fine."

I cut of the connection from her and answered Myron. "Hi, I'm Skylynn."

he gaped at me. "The Skylynn? The Alpha's lost child?" everyone knows about me. "Yeah that's me." I answered. The lost child? Interesting name. "Wow, um. I didn't expect to see you."

"I just escaped from the pack that kidnapped me, Your dad has seen me."

"Oh yea, he told me about that."

"So um, wanna watch a movie?" I asked quickly. Oh I know Star was in on that one. "Okay." Wow. 5 minutes and I'm watching a. movie with him.

I am good! I followed Myron into the living room and he put in Resident Evil. We sat down side by side on the couch and pressed play. "This is the coolest horror film ever!" I said to Myron. It is a great horror movie. "Definitely." He agreed and we sat a little closer together. My mind was on the war, not the movie.

Can we beat Dawn Moon? Is it possible? I tried to put those thoughts out of my mind when a scent hit my nose. I sniffed. Green apple and cheerios? what kind of a smell is that? The living room door flew open seconds later and a teenage girl dressed in a short skirt and a belly top walked in front of the TV. "Hey! What's the big idea?" I said angrily trying to see around her. "Out of the way!"

I could tell she was mad, I had seen the look on some many other faces in the past. "Myron baby, What are you doing with her?" she said in a whiny voice. I looked at Myron who was swearing under his breath. "Go away, Alyssa, We're trying to watch a movie." He growled. Didn't blame him.

"Not until you tell me why you're cheating on your mate!" she replied grumpily. Oh that was it. I got up and looked her straight in the eye, trying not to smell the bleach from her hair.

"Listen Blondie, he isn't your mate. Now get out of here and leave us alone." I growled. She continued to whine. My headache was growing? "Who else would be his mate?" I smirked, my own ego growing slightly? "Me of course." I saw her face turn red and mind-linked Myron privately. -She's the pack sl*t, isn't she?-

-Yep that's Alyssa.-

-You're not mates, right?-

-Oh h3ll no! She just wants to be the beta's mate.-

I cut off the link. "Myron isn't your mate! He's mine! Who do you think you are?" She said with a mean glint in her eye. "A Wh*re?" She did the not! "Actually Ms. Smart@ss, I am Skylynn."

Her eyes widened. I smirked again. Serves her right. "Yeah right! Am I supposed to believe that?" This has been blown way out of proportion. I shoved her against the wall and held her throat.

"Yes you are supposed to believe that. Now get out of here or I'll do much worse. Understand?" Nobody can disobey an Alpha command and I, am an Alpha. She looked terrified. "U-understand." She ran out of the room. The thoughts about war returned to my head. ugh.

Alyssa's POV (this part was needed!)

I can't believe she stole my mate! I'm soo gonna get her back. But how? Wait, I heard she was the slave for the Dawn Moon pack and she escaped. (Evil plan.) I know! I'll tell them where she is and they'll come get here, then Myron and I can be mates. That b**** better watch out.
