I wake up.

Cue the smile.

Cue the happy sigh.

I wake up with a smile on my face as usual because of the amazing person that has come back into my life. Every day I can't wait to fall asleep to dream about him and wake up just to see him. Though I prefer staying awake better because I can assure myself that everything I have is real and not just some made up fantasy so as to create my utopia. Because honestly, who (including both girls AND boys) would not want to have a boyfriend like Cole Grayson Stone?

After a few seconds of thanking the stars for my wonderful life, made so because of Cole, my phone began to ring. Not bothering to check who exactly called, I pick it up only to hear music from the other side. Groggy from sleep, I check who would want to serenade me with music at this time of the day to find out that it was an unknown number. After about five minutes of peaceful music, and a high-pitched voice saying "Happy Valentine's Day!" the call got disconnected, leaving me utterly confused... and depressed because the phone call reminded me of today's date.

Seeing as the time was nearing afternoon, and that it was a Saturday, I get ready to lounge all day at home. Now I would be celebrating Valentine's Day with my boyfriend if only he was only ten meters away. Instead he is several miles away. Why? "I need to bring back Nana Stone since she ran away from the building again," was what he said. It has been two days already that I haven't seen him.

Yes, despite my room being unorganized and messy like a volcano erupted in my room, and the lava is substituted with my unfashionable clothes, thus leading to my calendar going MIA, I know that today is Valentine's Day. Mainly due to the little phone call I had in the morning with no idea who sent it because Cole would have called me directly and the fact that yesterday in school most of the girls were gushing about either their real or imaginary boyfriends.

What relation does my messy room have anything to do with this day? Absolutely nothing, because n matter what, I am always reminded of it in some way or the other despite my efforts in losing my calendar. Also who checks the date on their phones? Definitely not me. And that just shows how saddened I am about the fact that Cole had gone off on a road trip. Not exactly but it feels like it.

Soon enough I was surrounded by my Kits and Nutella ice cream with a movie to watch. Now, don't go judging my food choices. I know that I have spent every Valentine's Day by my own lonely self, but I really thought this year would change. However, watching the relatable 'The Edge of Seventeen' on your own is not too bad in itself.

Just as I was getting out of self-pity phase, and the movie was reaching its peak, the doorbell rang. Wondering who would want to disturb my intimate moment with my television, I trudged to the door and looked through the peephole, deciding to ignore the person if necessary. But then I couldn't see anyone. Annoyed I opened the door only to find a single caca lily on the door mat and further more on the street, leaving a trail to... well I was about to find out.

Attached to the flower was a note. It read 'Trust me and follow the path. 20'. A few meters ahead I saw another flower. Even though there was a slim chance that it could be a prank, I just wanted to collect the flowers. First I picked up my wallet and locked the door too because I am responsible like that. So, eager to know where the lilies led to, I collected all the flowers that each had a number and word on a note.
