"Do they always take this long to show up?", I ask myself and massage my left temple while spinning the cup of tea slowly on the table in front of me.
The rabid werewolves in this town were sure a way to get the Winchester's attention, but quite the pain to deal with. Most of my wounds healed up already but there's still this annoying ringing in my head from falling off that stupid roof.
The pack leader was determined to put an end to my life. He probably thought I was just a regular, human hunter who tried herself in witchcraft but he was wrong. So, so wrong. The look on his face, when I stood up and smiled at him after he threw me off the ten story building, was priceless. I could see his face going from "Hell yeah!" to "Oh shit!" within seconds. The adrenaline pumped through me and I teleported myself back on the roof with ease and landed in front of him.
"You'll have to try harder to kill me, wolfie.", I said with a smile and fired my last silver bullet into his forehead before he could even react. Now, I'm trying to get rid of the post-falling-of-a-damn-building hangover. I've waited for days now and those legendary Winchesters still haven't shown themselves. Maybe they don't care about a pack of rabid werewolves anymore.

"You've still got a lot to learn, Sammy.", I hear a man say with a deep voice. I block out the ringing and the throbbing pain in my head, the other guests in the diner and the delicious scent of a rich bacon and cheese burger waiting at the reach through for the waiter to bring to a table. I concentrate on the newest guests, one of them being "Sammy". That's who I concentrate on. I reach out to him and feel my green eyes roll back into my head. I see two tall men, dressed in plaid shirts and one with chin length, brown hair. That must be Sammy.
It's not very hard to reach into his thoughts. He's basically an open book to me. That's how I found out that he is Sam Winchester and the man behind him is is brother, Dean Winchester. I smirk to myself, thinking that my plan did work out after all. Then I reach for his current thoughts.
"What's she doing here? How did she get here so fast? Why is Rowena here?", he thinks and I snap out of my spell. He knows her. He knows where she is. "So those were more than just rumors.", I think and drain my cup before I set it back down and whisper, "Time for all of you to go home", to myself before flicking my wrist.
All the guests and staff inside the diner get up or walk away from their stations and leave the diner. I don't need any nosy humans listening in and I don't know if I can trust these two. Yes, they know where Rowena is and I desperately need to find her, but I can't just blindly trust them. I know what they are capable of and that either of them would shove me into the pit of vipers without questioning it, if it meant to save the other. Their codependency is almost pathetic. However, I do admire their loyalty.
I hear them taking out their guns, which I easily fling away with another flick of my wrist. And with another, I turn them into living statues.

"I am not Rowena McLeod.", I say as clearly as possible and hear them inhale sharply as I turn around. I can't help but think how attractive they are but then I quickly focus back on what's important; finding Rowena.
"And now, boys, tell me where my mother is.", I add and cross my arms in front of my chest. I can see both of them fighting against the spell and I roll my eyes.
"Alright, how about this, I release you from my grip and we promise not to kill each other? I have no interest in harming either of you, anyway.", I offer and the brothers give each other a look and wait for the other to agree. Finally, they nod. I flick my wrist again and they gasp for air.
"That's a nice way to say hello.", Dean mutters and sits down after I offer him and Sam to sit. "I have to be careful. After all, you both do have quite the reputation.", I say while I get the three plates of delicious smelling burgers with fried from the counter and place them on the table where we are seated. "Don't worry, boys. I'll pay for it and it's not poisoned either.", I assure them and take two fries from each of their plates, dip them in ketchup and put them in my mouth. After my little demonstration, Dean smiles as he picks up the bacon burger and guides it to his mouth. "Thanks for the food.", Dean says with a full mouth.
"How'd you know we thought you were Rowena?", he asks after swallowing. I smile at him and swallow my own first bite out of the burger.
"I was reading Sam's mind from the moment you got in. I was waiting for you two. I assume you're here because of those werewolves?", they nod, "Don't worry, I took care of that.", I promise.
"You said that Rowena is... your mother?", he asks and I nod.
"That's why I thought you'd be of some help in finding her. I just didn't know that you actually did know her. Of course, I have heard rumors, but I never really pay much attention to those because they're mostly bullshit.", I explain and take another bite off my burger.
"Why do you need to find her? I mean, sure she's your mother and all but she's not really 'mom of the year', after all.", Dean asks and takes a sip from his iced tea. I look around carefully and run my hands over my arms.
"It's crucial, that I find her. I need her help.", then I lean in as far as the table allows it an speak in a hushed voice. You never know who's listening. I am protected against magical espionage, but against the tools of humans I am basically helpless. Ironic, really.
"I need help to bring down the British Men Of Letters. At least most of them. I can't tell you much here because you never know who's eavesdropping.", I whisper. Sam and Dean look at each other again and wait for the other to agree.
"Alright, we'll listen to what you have to say and then we'll decide what to do, okay?", Sam offers and I thankfully take it. Dean says he'd like to finish his burger first and I can't agree more.

As we leave the diner, he asks me what my name is.
"Oonagh Cavanaugh, pleased to meet you, Sam and Dean Winchester.", I answer and smile at both of them.
"You know, you actually seem like a decent person. Why would you want to find Rowena? That's insane!", Dean says and Sam hits his arm.
"Dude... she's her mom!", Sam says.
Dean just shrugs and I laugh.
"Don't worry, boys. I know she's not a good person and besides... sanity is overrated.", I reply and then follow the Winchesters to their car.
