The world has been dark for so long and Jemma can no longer remember what light even looks like, until one day "The Woman" descended from the heavens promising salvation and offering to help their community rebuild in the midst of the ruins that once were Earth. But is their new messiah what she seems? Jemma's family seems to think so, but others in their enclave are not so sure. This celestial being might be the answer to their long unanswered prayers...if she doesn't first destroy everything they had left.
