Chapter 6

Leaving the castle was always risky, with guards constantly surrounding the ten-foot-high stone wall that kept everyone Royal in, and everyone else out. Fortunately, Tony, one of the younger guards would help me out, knowing my craving for freedom was insatiable. "Tony!" I whispered, as he looked up and saw me hiding behind the bush of Azaleas. He chuckled, shaking his head of blonde locks and walks over to me. "Evening Princess, are you interested in leaving the gates?" he smirks, knowing I hated when he was so formal. "Quit it Tony, I need out..." I say quietly, glancing around to find no other guards near his post tonight. "Yeah yeah, I know, just be careful. There have been sightings of demons close by" he told me, and my heart skittered with excitement, hoping it had been Ryan. "Thanks Tony" I smile brightly, wrapping my arms around him gratefully.

Once he's let me out, I dash quickly through the woods, hoping he would be there. As my feet tread quickly through the soft mossy ground, I hear the calling of a deer through the forest, and smile to myself. I come back to the clearing, and my heart stops. "Ryan" I say quietly, as he stands in the centre of the clearing, a sexy smirk on his face. "Hey Princess" he smiles. I walk towards him slowly, hesitantly, afraid he was only a figment of my imagination. The pull I had felt with my vivid dreams was so strong now, I could feel myself being pulled toward him, and I was powerless to stop it.

His eyes were nearly pitch black by the time I stood in front of him, his hot breath misty in the cold air, "I knew you'd come back" he smiled, his hands slipping behind back and pulling me flush against his body. I gasp, letting out a shuddering breath, "Why...why do I feel like this?" I question, his body igniting arousal between my legs. Before he answers, he leans down and slams his hot lips against mine, and I moan against his mouth, my body exploding with desire as he kisses me passionately.

When she runs into the clearing, my heart picks up speed, her blue eyes wide in shock. "Hey Princess" I smile at her. I can see she's hesitant, the effects of the mate bond pulling her in a way she's unsure of. When she reaches me, I place my hands on her curvy hips, the silky material of the dress only heightening the desire I have for her. I can't take it any longer as I reach down and slam my lips against hers, sparks flying as we kiss. I smiled into the kiss, knowing for sure she was my mate. I pull her flush against my body, the moan leaving her lips making me grow aroused.

As she pulls away, panting slightly, I smile, "You're my mate" I say softly, brushing my fingertips across her cheek and down through her luscious hair. "You're mine" I smirk, before kissing her again.

I hold her flush against my body, afraid that if I let her go she'd never return. I could smell the arousal from her body, only adding to mine as she kissed me. Her hands slid up my torso, causing me to groan. The urge to take her right then and there in the middle of our clearing was driving me crazy, but I held myself back. I had to wait, hoping that one day she would run away with me. 

I slowly picked her body up from the ground, her petite figure wrapped around me as I pressed her against an oak tree. I pulled back, panting heavily, as I looked up into her gorgeous blue eyes, "I..love..you" I said, kissing down her neck. As the snap of branches could be heard, and the dim light of torches off in the distance became ever brighter, I put her down. "I'll be back for you Princess" I said softly, kissing her feverishly, before sending one quick glance at her and running. She would come back for me....I hoped.
