We sat there in the tropical night breeze, the stars shone dazzling the entire universe. Luke gently took my hand as we walked away from the busy bar and loud music, with couples kissing on the outside dance floor and beer bottles littering the ground. We walked along the beach for a while and then he lead me up a sandy path, to a privet lookout spot, we were above the beach now and could see down across the wide deep blue sea. He sat down on pile of sand as I joined him I noticed his eyes were filling with tears. I didn't say anything, I waited in the frosty silence and then he spoke, it was the first time he had spoken to me all night. "I like you Lola, I like you a lot" he said to me. "I like you too" I replied, not looking at him but staring at the sea for I knew what he was going to say next. "What about that jake?" He asked. I stayed silent for a few minuets trying to think of what to say, trying to put in to words all the thoughts and feeling racing around my head. I didn't mean it to happen, it was all a mistake, a bit if fun. Well it wasn't fun now having to explain my stupid behaviour to Luke, he looked towards me as a tear rolled from his dark blue eyes and down his perfect cheek it was the first time I had ever seen him cry. I had to tell him the truth, he knew me too well and could tell when I was lying, I looked back at the sea and tried to remember how it all happened.
