All my classes were boring and the whole school day I was having trouble thinking about anything other than Brandon. He was so sweet and nice.
"Hey (y/f/n)!" I yelled to my friend as I walked into the lunch room, no one was eating because we came here for last period.
"Hi!" (y/f/n) replied."whats up?" she continued.
"just got asked out by this really cute guy!" I exclaimed.
"what! who is it?" she asked.
"a guy named Brandon, he's really sweet! there he is now!" I said pointing to Brandon, who was across the lunchroom.
He must have stayed here for the day.
"he is hot, if it doesn't work out for you two I may just hit that instead." (y/f/n) said chuckling.
"(y/f/n)!" you said playfully hitting her on the arm.
Brandon must have turned around and seen you because he was standing by your table.
"hey (y/n)," he said.
"Hey," you replied.
"I have to go get some books from my locker." (y/f/n) said out of the blue, she left but not before giving you a wink.
"so...um about that dinner when are you free?" Brandon asked shyly.
"Friday night."
"cool I'll pick you up Friday!" Brandon said, " around 8 pm okay?"
"yeah that's perfect!" you said just before the bell rang for the end of the day.
"bye"
"bye," you both said leaving to go home.
The drive home was interesting, to say the least. I was enjoying just listening to music and thinking about my date with Brandon. It would be nice to get out and hang with someone who isn't (y/f/n). Brandon seemed really laid back and that's what I need in my life right now.
