Chapter 5- the argument

Carters pov

Those words made me feel so much more happier. She thought I was the best dad in the world!

I walked out of her pink girly room to edit the video I made a few hours ago. once I got out of the room and Into the blue hallway I saw Sophie standing there waiting for me.

"Why was you playing video games with her?!" Sophie shouted at me. normally I would apologise but I knew I should stick up for myself for once.

"Because its her birthday and I thought she deserved it!"

"Are you arguing with me?!"

"Yes I am! you know what I should of done it a long time ago!"

"So are you siding with her!"

"Yeah! I think it's unfair how your always grounding her!"

"What! but its the only way she'll stop making this thing about her mum up!"

" I think I'm starting to believe her actually!"

"Why it's so stupid!"

"What if she's not lying though!"

"Whatever!" and with that she flicked her long curly brown hair behind her back and walked into our room.

The thing is Sophie doesn't really like angel and that's just because angel isn't her daughter which I think is kind of stupid (but I do get her point). sometimes I don't know what I liked about her.

I walked into my white and red office to edit and upload the video.

While in the middle of editing I heard the door open and little feet walking towards me. it was angel.

"Daddy?"

"Yeah my little princess" I turned to face her.

"Did you and Sophie have an argument because of me?"

"No I was just sticking up for you me and your mum."

"So you believe me!?" her pretty dark green eyes filled with hope.

" of course I do."

"Thanks daddy!" she said to me while hugging me.
