As I saw the school in the distance I knew I would regret leaving. Hi my name is Addison they call me Addie for short, and I just had the best and saddest day ever today. It was the last day of school and we had a "field day" today. We walked to the park not to far from the school it was the whole fifth and sixth grade and all the teachers. We had games, scavenger hunts, and just hung out with our friends.
As school ended for the last time that school year I headed to my mom's classroom. Since we wouldn't be coming back my mom was cleaning out her classroom. It was hard to see it being cleaned out she had that classroom since I was born and now I'm 12 so I guess 12 years she's had that classroom for. There were so many teachers and parents who came in and said goodbye.
As I looked back in the distance I saw the school in a blur knowing it was going to be the last time I saw it. Over the summer I tried to get my mind off of it by going to Texas and getting braces, but I still never could get it off my mind.
