Serious Help

I woke up to a beeping noise and a really bright light. "Ugh." I looked around and saw I was in a hospital room. There were about 5 people in the room and they were all asleep. "Hey you guys," I whispered. My throat was very dry for being asleep for so long. The curly haired girl jumped up and started asking me questions. "Oh my gosh, Carter are you okay? Are you feeling okay? Do you need anything?" "Water please," I said. "Okay, I will be right back!" I then noticed everyone else was waking up. There was a blonde boy who came up to me first and hugged me. "Thank you so much for saving my life," he said. "It was no problem." I tried to sit up but I felt pain in my stomach. I tried not to wince but it happened. "Woah be careful love. You got shot there remember?" "Oh yeah," I nervously laughed. There was a knock on the door. "Hey I brought you some clothes and water. The doctor said we can sign out whenever, but remember your bandage can't get wet," said Nikki. (outfit in the top) "Thanks boo!" "Yeah yeah." "Can you guys wait for me in the hall?" "Of course love! Lads wake up!" They all jolted awake from the scare Niall gave them. "What's wrong Ni?," asked a brown-haired blue-eyed boy. "Nothing Lou. We all need to leave so the lovely lady can get dressed." They all got up and left. I looked at my outfit. Wow Nikki did a good job. As I was putting on my clothes, I had to be careful of the bandage on my torso.

           I had just finished putting on my shoes when there was a knock on the bathroom door. "Are you almost ready, C?" I jumped from fright, not prepared for the voice. "Uh, yeah I'm ready," I called and opened the door. As I walked out, 5 pairs of eyes were watching over my every move. "You guys don't need to watch me the whole time. I'm fine," I said, while rolling my eyes. "We have to be sure," said a sad looking Niall. I looked at him and he held my gaze for a few seconds, before dropping his head. Nikki, sensing the awkwardness in the room, cleared her throat and stood up from her seat. "Well, if you're ready, do you want to go get some food?," she smiled. At the mention of food, my stomach growled, causing everyone to laugh. I rolled my eyes and laughed, beginning to walk away after being in the hall. "Are you guys coming?," I shouted, causing dirty looks from the staff. Niall came running out of the room, shouting, "I want to go to Waffle House!"

            When we got to the parking lot, Liam helped me into the passenger seat of Nikki's car. "So we will meet you there?," he asked. "Sir, yes sir," I grinned at him. He chuckled and shook his head, "Crazy, I swear." "Only for you Mr. Payne!," I called to him as he walked away. Nikki opened the driver door and climbed into her Kia Rio. She shook her head, curls bouncing, as I giggled at myself. "C, you need serious help," she laughed. I gave her a look. We heard honking and we both turned to the sound. Harry w
as signaling us to roll down our window. We looked at each other, then his car, back at each other, smirked, and sped off.
