I let out a loud sigh. I was currently sitting on my couch playing some pointless game and texting a few friends.
New text message from Nire💕
The text was from my closest friend Nire, who I recently met after moving here to Seoul, South Korea.
I gtg bye!
I let out yet another loud, overly exaggerated sigh. The TV could faintly be heard around me, but I had no idea what was playing on it.
"Ughhhh" I sunk my body down into the couch. It's been the same thing for the last four days, sitting in pajamas with your hair up, eating and watching TV. And I'm bored of it.
I'd rather spend this time with my precious boyfriend, Yoongi, Aka Suga the lead rapper of BTS, but of course he was busy. I kept reminding my self he still loved me, and I was lucky to have him. Just then my phone rang.
I looked at the caller ID. I was surprised it was Yoongi, but didn't at all hesitate to answer.
"Yoongi! How's work?"
"Great actually! So great that I have some time off, so I was wondering if you'd meet me somewhere for lunch?"
I smiled at his voice and could practically hear his gummy smile through the phone.
"Of course!" I answered, happily.
"Great! Can you meet me at the cafe, the one only a few blocks from the apartment."
"Hmmm,"I was smiling from ear to ear. "Let me check my schedule.... of course!!" I laughed.
"Okay, bye." He chuckled
"Bye!" I couldn't stop smiling I was so happy.
I quickly got dressed, re-put up my greasy hair, and put on some light makeup, before practically jumping out the door.
Since it was a nice day, and the cafe was pretty close, I walked. My smile stayed plastered on my face the whole walk there. On the way there I bumped into Nire, who was with her boyfriend, Taehyung.
"Hey Nire!" I said, quite obnoxiously.
"Hey Y/N, where you heading?"
"To the cafe just around the corner. I'm meeting Yoongi there." I explained.
"Oh cool! Well we should get going, say hi to Yoongi for me." She smiled.
"I will," I replied, with my big smile growing bigger just by hearing his name.
My walk continued and I soon made it to the small cafe. My huge smile grew bigger when I saw his mint green hair through the front window.
When I walked inside, I saw him in the corner typing away at his computer. Why is he on his computer? This is supposed to be a date right?
I walked to the corner where he was sat at. I scoot in next to him and glance at the screen.
"Whatcha doin'?" I asked
"Y/N! I was just working on some new lyrics," he answered.
"Ohhh, cool." I replied. Several minutes later I still sat there, tapping my fingers on the table, waiting for Yoongi to say something. "You hungry?"
"Yes, very" his eyes stayed glued to the screen.
"I'll go get you something." I said standing up.
I sat back down staring at him while he typed away at the computer. "Yoongi! I thought you came so we could spend time together!" I whined.
"We are spending time together, " he replied not taking his eyes of the screen.
"You're not even making direct eye contact with me!" I argued, sounding annoyed. He looked up.
"Is that better?" He said with no emotion. Yoongi looked back at the computer.
I rolled my eyes. Why did you even want me here? I mumbled under my breath. I got out my phone and scrolled through Instagram, my eyes stopped when I saw a picture of Nire and Taehyung at an ice cream parlor. Tae had ice cream smeared all over his face and Nire smiled so lovingly at her boyfriend.
I looked back at Yoongi and sighed.
"Nire wanted me to say hi to you for her."
Silence.
"Why don't you take a break from writing, and we take a walk?" I suggested. "Please!!"
"Fine" he sighed. He shut of his computer and put it away. Although I was irritated about his attitude I decided to let it go since he actually agreed.
"Yaayyyy!" I squelled, grabing his arm and leading him out of the cafe.
As we walking hand in hand, I thought of something that would make him talk.
"So, what kind of lyrics were you working on?"
"Oh! Actually, there lyrics for our next comeback in October, it's called 'love is not over' (that was the only song I could think of...) its about how hard it is to leave or get over someone you love, but you'll be able to love again." He continued to go on and on about the new comeback.
I wasn't listening most of the time but I loved how his eyes light up when he talks about his music. And how he'll talk for hours about it, he never seems to get bored of it.
As time went on we laughed and joked, telling each other everything that happens when we're not together.
These days didn't come very often, but when they do, I cherish them.
