"Welcome." The Principal, a tall, imposing women, greeted. She stood proud on the stage. Her dark eyes scanned the meager crowd with little interest. There would be many later arrivals. How inconvenient.
Finally, she spoke again, her voice echoing in the ceremony room, "I hope your arrival was fine. Let me - without further ado - explain how things work. Because," She smiled knowingly, "they are very different."
Principal Rubarb looked down at her paper, shuffling through frequently before adjusting her steely gaze on the students.
"Curfew. There's a curfew at 9. Students are to be in their dorms by then. There are to be two in each dorm. Males and females are separated. You will attend counselling everyday without fail. Skipping is such a bad habit. Tch. Other than that, in your free time the library is available. There is an art room, theatre and dance room to hone your talents. What else? Oh. School trips happen often enough. And, if you ever have a problem... Talk to your counsellor. Well, that's it. Meet your teachers and fellow peers. Have fun." She folded her hands in front of her, walking off the stage without a moment's hesitation.
Given to you was a map and an intro letter, identical to what the principal had been saying.
Posted on the wall was the dorm list.
The first day had really begun.
What students would you meet?
What relationships would you create?
Only time would tell...
