The next day the guild was surprisingly more quiet then usual. Gray and Erza didn't even talk or look at eachother. Erza kept quiet which was surprising and Gray didn't even bother to get into fights with Natsu. It was as if the guild was cast under a spell to be normal. Which was bad because fairy tail is anything but normal. Natsu could have taken advantage of Gray but saw he was upset so decided to do it next time. Wendy and Romeo were trying to predict the future with Cana and Carla. Wendy and Romeo kept blushing at eachother and turned away. Erza and Mira were training outside near the river bank but Erza still kept quiet not even talking to Mira. Mira knew something was wrong with Erza and she was determined to figure out. Erza just whispered to herself random words that Mira could barely hear to understand. Mira told Erza to take a break. Again Erza said nothing but nodded. She sat down near the river bank looking at her reflection. Erza saw her childhood self crying then she saw herself. She just realized how much she had truly grown and changed. Mira sat down next to her and spoke as a friend "Erza are you okay?"
Erza got out of her thoughts and noticed Mirajane. "I'm fine why do you suspect anything is wrong?" Erza said in her normal strong stiff voice. Mira patted Erza on the back wrapping her arms around Erza as a comforting friend and replied "You haven't talked all day or made full eye contact with anyone. You just whispered to yourself words that i could not solve." Erza didn't notice she was acting strange until Mira told her. Erza hugged Mira randomly. Mira embraced the hug and comforted Erza "Erza it's going to be alright. What is the matter?" Erza finally found her confidence and requipped back into her normal armor for her hearts safety during the hug. Erza then told Mira everything that happened that night.
This chapter didn't really have anything to do with gray but I just wanted to make it seem idk add the other characters. I really like Mira and Erza's friendship. They act like sisters for eachother and yeah. So I kindof wanted Erza to break her shield not having to face her problems alone. I think I did a cliff hanger and yep. Sorry you will just have to wait. I may update later today (it's really early for me) I need some sleep. Of course instead I am going to read one of my Favorite book series "Land of Stories" SOO yeah. I'm on book three (I'm rereading it I forgot everything so it's great) well goodnight.
ALSO it also has some Romeo and Wendy stuff because they are just adorable!
