Chapter 5

Melanie's POV

I stayed up extra late packing last night so I woke up at 9 o'clock sharp.

"OMG mom!", I yell angrily. She seriously couldn't have woken me up earlier. She knows this is the biggest day of my life.

I don't even wait for her to answer. I grab a towel and jump in the shower. I take a quick one considering I'm late. When I get out, I dry my hair and wrap the towel around my body.

What to wear, what to wear. I pick it a pair of jean shorts and a tank top with an infinity sign with the word "directioner" in the infinity sign. I love this shirt.

I curl my hair in loose curls and apply a lil bit of mascara and lip balm. My mom walks in my room as I'm searching through my closet for a jacket.

"Sorry hun, I ran to Dunkin. I got stuck in some traffic", she says handing me a donut and a mocha iced coffee. Mmmm.

"It's ok and thanks!", I say happily taking a bite of my donut.

"Well it's about 9:45. You almost ready?", she asks.

"Yeah. Erica and Em should be here any minute." I say reassuringly.

DING DONG DING DONG DING DONG DING DONG DING DONG

"I'LL GET IT!", I scream as I take a sip of my iced coffee.

I open the door and see my two best friends jumping up and down like weirdos. Haha. Them? Weird? No way.

"AHHHHH!", we all scream.

"Why thank you!", Erica says taking my iced coffee.

"Awh thanks!", Emily says as she grabs my half eaten donut.

"GIMME MY DONUT YOU KNOW HOW I FEEL ABOUT DONUTS.", I scream as loud as I can to Emily.

"AND YOU!", I say pointing at Erica, "I. WANT. MY. COFFEE."

I chase her around the house until my mom is in the doorway.

"Girls girls! What's going on?!", my mom asks calmly.

"SHE TOOK MY BEAUTIFUL COFFEE AND SHE TOOK MY DONUT MOM THAT IS SO UNCOOL.", I say seriously.

By now they all our laughing, including my mother.

"Let's go!", Erica says opening the front door.

I run in and grab the tickets off the fridge. My mom already put all of our bags in the car while I was chasing two animals around the house. I put my phone in my pocket and walk to the car. Emily is sitting shotgun so Erica and I are stuck in the back.

"Is everybody ready?", my mom asks.

"Let's see. Tickets." I say.

"Check." Em and Erica say.

"Bags."

"Check."

"Phones."

"Check."

"One Direction."

"Che- what?"

"Okay we're good!" Emily says.

"Alright.", my mum says driving away.

The ride actually went by pretty fast I guess. We got to our hotel around 2 and unpacked all our stuff.

"Girls, here are the rules.", my mom says before leaving.

"1. No boys allowed in your hotel room.

2. Always stick together.

3. Don't get in the van." , she says laughing at the end.

"Okay." , we all say, "We promise."

"Well I'll be back in a couple of days." She says pulling me in for a hug.

"Love you! Don't do anything crazy.", she says, "Oh I almost forgot. I left $300 in your room."

I stutter, "Th- Three h-hun-.."

"Yes", she giggles, "have fun with it."

"I love you Mom. Thank you so much for this." I say shedding a tear.

"Love you too. See ya soon baby.", she says shutting the door.

"OKAY GUYS LETS PARTY!", I scream.

"You were like just crying." Emily says confuzzled.

"Acting love." I say cleverly.

"You devil." Erica says laughing.

Our hotel room is huge. We each get our own bed. There's a kitchen with a mini fridge, microwave, stove, EVERYTHING! We even get a hot tub.

I didn't really notice their outfits until now. Erica is wearing pink jean shorts and a t-shirt with a picture of Louis. Gorgeous.

Emily is wearing these teal jean shorts and her shirt says "Mrs.Horan" on it with a really pretty lace design.

It's not even 3:00 yet. Ugh.

"I'm gonna take a nap guys.", I say laying on my bed.

"Okay." they say.

I crawl under the covers and close my eyes. Even this bed is perfect. The blankets are so warm and the mattress is so soft. Only special people should be able to sleep in this bed. Like One Direction. Because they are perfect.

A/N: Hey sorry I didn't update quicker. I was grounded for like EVERRR but I got my phone back lol um so Midnight Memories music vid is awesomely awesome. :D oh and HAPPY BIRTHDAY HARRY!! WE ALL LOVE YOUUUU
