Preference: They forgot Valentine's day

Luke had never forgotten Valentine's day before. Forgetting an excuse to spoil you rotten was just nothing like him.

Therefore you had been worried all day when he had not showed up, had not texted and had not called. You had been that worried that you had called Clary and Simon and the three of you had searched all day and all night until you had found Luke in the middle of the woods.

When he realized what day it was, he felt even more guilty about losing control than he had already done and the next day he tried everything he could to make up for it. He started with making you breakfast in the early morning.

Even though mornings were not really your thing, the smell of fresh baked bread and home made chocolate cookies had helped you to forget about that.

The entire day Luke sent you sweet messages and in the evening he took you to a nice and small restaurant where the two of you could just be together for a while.
