The next morning Juliette and Sofia were the first ones to wake up. So they went into Callie and Arizona’s room! They slowly and quietly got into Callie and Arizona’s bed and Sofia whispered into Callie’s ear “Wake up momma” Callie woke up and looked at the time and remembered that Arizona had to be to work in about 5 minutes so she quickly woke Arizona up and told her that she had about 2 minutes to get ready and get to work. Arizona got up and quickly got ready. She gave the girls a kiss and kissed Callie and ran out the door. When she left Callie asked the girls what they wanted to do. Juliette asked her if they could go to the mall. Callie said that they could. So they got in the car and were on their way to the mall. When they got to the mall. They shopped for about 3 hours then they left and went back home. When they got home Arizona was sitting on the couch. Just by the way she was sitting Callie could tell something was terribly wrong with Arizona. She told Sofia and Juliette to go into their room and wait until she came and got them. Sofia and Juliette nodded. Sofia ran off but Juliette looked at Callie and whispered “Take care of her mama . She looks upset and I know that you always know how to make her feel better. Please try to cheer her up” Then she ran off into their room and shut the door. Callie walked up to Arizona and sat on the couch next to her. When Callie sat down Arizona laid her head on Callie’s shoulder and started crying. Callie wrapped her arms around Arizona and asked her what was wrong. Arizona handed Callie her phone and pointed at the text she just received. Callie looked at the text that said ‘Arizona...It’s your sister Natalie. I’m just texting you to tell you that mom and dad have gotten into a car accident. It’s super serious and the doctors said that they don’t know if they are going to survive. You need to come down and see them.’
Arizona through sobs said “Callie...I-I can’t g-go! I can’t see my parents like that. I just can’t.”
“Arizona. Yes you can do it. I know you can. I will go with you. We will find a babysitter for the girls and we will go to see your parents. I know this is going to be hard for you. But I will come with you. Don’t worry about it. Okay? Everything is going to be okay” Callie said to Arizona as she began to get up off the couch.
