"I'm serious, did you steal my Poptart?" Angela asked, her eyes boldly accusing, yet playful at the same time.
"I didn't, Spirit, I swear!" Blaire protested, tossing a pillow at her friend. Everytime Angela came over, she accused Blaire of stealing her Poptarts. Angela didn't even like Poptarts.
"I don't believe you!" Angela argued, though she was clearly amused. "And stop calling me that! It's a stupid nickname."
Truthfully, Angela disagreed with her last sentence; it was a super cool nickname, but she was too shy to admit that, and the way she had recieved it wasn't so flattering. When she and Blaire had first met, things were awkward; Angela was far too shy. Since then, however, she had really opened up, and they had become great friends. Most of their time was spent together, days and nights; this sometimes bothered both of their brothers, but neither of them cared. Angela and Blaire had agreed that they should just go find girlfriends already, they had been alone far too long.
"Are you kidding me?" Blaire said, inserting herself into Angela's thoughts. "It's the best nickname. Remember when I gave it to you, on your birthday? I still can't believe the fact that you're so scared of horror movies! You were as pale as a ghost, remember?"
Angela shot a glare in Blaire's direction. "And I still can't believe that you took me to a horror movie for my birthday, you know that I hate them!" She snapped, her eyes glowing like cold fire, but only for a brief moment; maybe longer, but no one would ever know, since she had closed them. "Anyway, back to my Poptart," the fair-skinned woman said, opening only one eye to look at Blaire.
"I told you, Spirit, I did not take it! It was Koda!"
But Angela waved this off, arguing, "Your brother is a gentleman, he would never steal a woman's Poptart!"
Yet again, Blaire disagreed. "You don't know him like I do," she said scornfully. "Plus, you lost that Poptart months ago! Why do you still blame me every time you sleep over here?"
"Because you did it, I know you did! You have always been a mischievous liar, and you're lying!" Spirit said heatedly.
"But —" Blaire began.
"Ah! Don't even!"
"I didn't —"
"Yes you did!"
Blaire almost swore that she could hear crickets, but of course, it was her imagination. Hopefully; Blaire did not want a basement full of bugs. She pretty much lived there, it would be a disaster. She stared at Angela, whose nose was very red; it always turned red when she was angry. The though made Blaire crack up, and, unable to suppress her laughter, a few giggles slipped out, her eyes still fixed on Angela's face. Blaire tried harder to hold them in, but the confused look on Angela's face made everything much too funny, and she broke out into more giggles, which soon became full blown laughter.
"What's so funny?" Angela asked, her voice slightly panicked. "Blaire, I'm serious! Why are you laughing?"
But Blaire continued laughing, falling onto her back and clutching her stomach. "You should have... Seen your face!" She wheezed, laughing uncontrollably.
Spirit put on a pouty face, but as always, she too began laughing.
"Blaire, stop laughing!" She sputtered. "Shut up! Shut up, you know I laugh when you do! Stop!"
"I, I can't!" Blaire spoke in between gasps for breath and more laughter. "I can't, I can't! Spirit, I can't... Stop laughing!"
Eventually, of course, they both did stop laughing, for they would likely die if they did not. They laughed a lot, they laughed everyday; laughter was almost the reason that they were such good friends. However, for the time being, they had to stop to catch their breaths...
But it was only temporary.________________________________________________________________________
Starring;
Blaire, nearly twenty years old, is a character of mine, created for a roleplay along with her brother, Koda. She began with a rather appealing story, but she soon grew to more than I had ever imagined. I have used her in many roleplays since, but all relate to the original. She had and will always be one of my favourite characters, and, apparently, also one of my most ship-able...
Angela, originally Spirit, is just over eighteen in this story. She is a character created by Ultimatefangirling (on chicken smoothie), for the same roleplay as Blaire and Koda. Well, she may have been around longer; I'm really not sure! Spirit is one of my favourite characters created by friends.Word Count; 650
