Inside the small room where all of the partitions and equipment including the bed, machines and some of the apparatus were all in white color. The place was so silent, all I heard was the whir sound of a machine.

While lying in my bed, staring at the ceiling, there is someone who just came in, a lady in white uniform. Well, there's nothing new then since she often comes here in my room.

She looked at me and smiled. "Janus! time to take your medicine." I stared at her in a second and then looked away.

"If you're going to inject me that, is there any possibility that I'll be cured?"

"If you behave and follow your doctor's advice there is a big possibility. Don't lose hope, as soon as we get a donor everything will be alright, besides Doc. Gonzaga is a best doctor in his field, have faith in him."

She puts the medicine tray on the table, she held my arm and started to inject me.

"Be a good boy, your mother is going to visit you later."

I took a deep breath while looking at her as she went out of the room. This is my daily routine and I'm sick with this sort of thing.

I decided to go out around 4:45 in the afternoon. I got up from bed, I wore my jacket and slippers. I sneak around first to make sure that no one will notice me. I hurriedly ran to the elevator, I pressed the button and waited until I reached the top. I slightly shivered as a cool breeze touched my skin, thank goodness I brought a jacket.

I often go to this place, this is more relaxing than in my room. I sat down in the wooden chair on the side. I took a cigarette out in my pocket and lit it. I know it's strictly prohibited in the hospital but I just want to experience the life that I had before, in case I die I have nothing to regret. After a minute of doing nothing, I feel drowsy, I closed my eyes until I fell asleep.

I don't know how long, I just woke up and saw a little girl sitting beside me. What I wonder the most is how she's able to come up here. She's intensely staring at me with a big smile on her face.

I wonder why she's smiling, do I look funny or  my mouth is open while I'm asleep? ugh! This girl is kinda irritating.

"Who are you? " She did not respond, instead she came closer towards me.

I think she's around 9 or 10 years old. She's wearing a hospital dress, obviously she's also one of the patients here.

"What are you doing here?" She didn't answer. She just pointed her finger towards the sun and smiled again.

"D-do you want to see the sunset?"

She nods at me and doesn't even flick at all. She's not answering my questions maybe because she's unable to speak.

"It's weird, what was in the sunset then?" I shook my head and stood up.

"Much better if you go back to your ward kid, your family might get worried about you."

When I came back to my room, mom was there. She's a bit worried, it's written all over her face.

"Where have you been? Haven't I told you before that you are not allowed to go outside?" She thought I was outside, she didn't have any idea I was just on the rooftop. I know I am not allowed to get tired but jeez I want some fresh air.

"Mom don't worry about me, I'm alright."

"Janus! Please don't be stubborn, all of my advice is for your own sake, hope you understand. Anyway, I brought you some fruits. Here, eat some, so you'll be strong."

"Where's dad?" I asked.

"He's busy right now but he promised to clear all his schedule when everything is settled."
