Dear Babs,
Or maybe I should write "Dear Barbara" and be formal. Also because you're pissed at me. I can't tell if it's pissed enough for me to lose Babs rights, but whatever.Just to clarify, I don't mean that in a "I don't care" sorta way. It is more of a "even if you were that mad at me I don't know what else I could do" sorta way.
Barbara, I'm sorry. This isn't how I wanted you to find out about me being Robin. I hated keeping it from you. When you keep such a big secret from someone you care so much about it burns in your brain, becomes a living hell. Every single day was this hell for me. I pray you know how much it killed me to lie to you day after day, month after month, year after year.
It really has been years. Years where I have lied to you, my best friend above anything else (don't tell Wally).
I always told Bruce you would figure us out; you're a super genius. He still wouldn't let me tell you, though. He cares about you like a daughter. He would die if something bad happened to you. I would die if something bad happened to you!
I guess that means I'm dead now.
I'm sure finding out your best frined (or maybe ex-best friend at this point) has lied to you for years is a bad thing. What makes it worse is that I never got to tell you the truth.
I'm sorry Barbara. I don't expect your forgiveness, I just wanted to give my most sincere apologie.
