Black body radiation. The theory that the darker the colour of an object the more light and heat energy it will absorb. This is reflected in the evolution of a polar bear, although it's fur is white for camouflage purposes, it's skin it black so that the little heat there is at the pole can be absorbed to keep the animal warm. There is yet another theory called re-emmision which explains that some absorbed heat will be pushed out again, leaving some in reserve. Based on this theory I am working on an experiment to find out the amount of energy transfer of black body radiation. With my brothers help I am designing a machine that can convert the energy into power. All you need to do is fit it onto your phone, find a black object and hey presto your charging you phone! This is therefore renewable and unlike solar panels can work through the night.
