Mark's POV~

Jack's been acting weird lately. A bit moody I mean. I have no idea if it's intentional or something else. And I've also noticed he's gained a little weight. 'What's going on? Wonder all you want. I'm not telling. I have a right to know! That's what you said the last time. What? On with the story! Wait, what do you mean by last time?' Something tells me it'll be a while till I get the answers. You got that right! *ducks behind wall as lamp is thrown at me*

Jack's POV~

Me and Sam are editing in the same room.

"Hey Da, do you know what's got you sick?"
"Yeah, why?"

"Would you mind telling Pa? And if not him me? We're all pretty worried."
"I'll tell you but you have to keep it a secret."
"Mo bheola séalaithe. What ever it is I won't tell."
"You sure?"
"Positive."
"Well, you're going to have a little brother or sister."

He stiffens and turns to me.

"Seriously?"

I nod my head as I turn to him. He leans back in his chair.

"Why aren't you telling Pa? He has a right to know."
"I'm worried that he'll either freak out or put me on relax only terms until it's born. Also I'm worried that what happened last time will happen again if I tell him."
"What happened last time exactly?"

I sigh. I don't want to tell him this story, not again. I put a hand on my stomach and turn away.

"Dad, what happened?"

"When I was about 3 and a half months the baby's heart just stopped. The doctors said it was common for it to happen but it felt so . . . . . unnatural. I wanted it so badly to be a dream t'at I locked myself away and worked on Youtube, barely ate, barely slept. Until I came to terms with my loss and numbed myself. Ever since then I've had Hope that I would be given a second Chance for a family and now t'at I have one god is givin' me something to look forward ta."
"So you're scared that it will die?"
"Yes, t'at's why ye need to keep it a secret. Understood?" I ask with tears in my eyes.

"Yeah, of course." He says in a soothing, sympathetic tone.

He gets up and hug me in the chair.

"I'll keep your secret Da." Sam whispers in my ear.

"Thank you Sam." I whisper back with a small smile on my face.

He chuckles lightly and pulls away to look at me.

"I have just one last question."
"What is it?"

"How far along are you?"

"Heh, about a month."

He nods and thinks about something for a moment.

"Pa's going to start noticing soon. We have to think of something to help you hide it till you're ready to tell him."

I nod. 'What could make it hard for Mark to guess? Maybe use an elastic bandage? Perfect!'

"I could wrap an elastic bandage around my abdomen." I say to no one in particular.

Sam snaps his finger as he thinks of something.

"That just might work! If we wrap it just tight enough to hide it then it won't hurt the baby any more then you going to the gym."

We nod in agreement. Suddenly PINEAPPLES! No, I hear a crash downstairs. I turn to the door.

"Did ya hear t'at?" I ask Sam.
