Dan's P.O.V
" Hello internet, and welcome to another video where I talk about all the times I've fucked up", I spoke to the camera with my signature salute. Staring at the cold, dark lense of the camera I rambled on about what awkward thing had happened to me a few days before. After adding in a few puns and skits I decided it was about time to wrap up the video. Once I shut off the camera and tidied away my filming equipment I decided it was time to retire to my bed and scroll through tumblr before it was time to start live streaming.
Phil's P.O.V
*1 hour before*
Dan had just popped into my room to tell tell me he was going to film a video so I wasn't to disturb him. I told him I wouldn't and that I'd just be scrolling through the internet until he was done. After about 10 minutes I could hear him awkwardly laughing through the walls and I kept thinking about how much I love it when I make him laugh. Today was the day I was going to ask my best friend to marry me. I had planned this day for weeks, no months actually and it was finally here. I would propose whilst he was on livestream and hope to god that he would say yes. Once I heard him clambering about his room, obviously packing away his equipment I decided I would go and make us some dinner, mainly so I could buy myself more time to calm down and think about the perfect thing to say.
Dan's P.O.V
* time skip to after dinner*
It was almost time for me to go live so I just sat about on my phone for a few minutes. I pressed the go live button and after about a minute I was being flooded by questions from everyone. I decided to take my time and answer the ones I could and overall just have a good time like normal. I heard a slight knock on the door followed by Phil peeking in.
" Can I ask you something Dan, it's important?" He said. " Yeah sure go ahead if your fine with everyone hearing it" I replied. Phil strolled over to me, his baby blue eyes staring into mine full of care and hope. I wondered what was going on, it seemed a little strange and it was like he was building up to something. He picked up my hands in his, and I could feel him shaking slightly. After about two seconds he spoke,
"Dan, you have been my best friend for years now and I want to thank you for that, it has meant so much to me that you have stuck by me through my ups and downs, and have helped me through my mistakes and challenges. But I've been hiding something from you. I love you Dan, I have for years now and I was so scared to tell you in case you left me but now I've built up the courage to ask you so ...". He stood up from the bed and got down on one knee, still holding my hands in his. " Dan Howell, my best friend and my partner, will you do me the honour of marrying me?" I peered down into his gorgeous blue eyes as they peered up at me worrying what my answer might be. I grinned and screamed " Yes Phil, yes yes yes". I pulled him up from his knees and smashed my lips against his. He has no idea how long I have waited for this moment, too afraid to say anything in case of rejection, but now it was happening, I was kissing Phil Lester. Our lips molded together in a loving, passionate kiss. Once he pulled away we couldn't stop staring into each others eyes and smiling like idiots. We both turned to the camera and said, " well that's it guys, we are finally together. See you guys next week. Bye". We waved as I ended the broadcast. I turned to face him and said, " I love you Phil", I grabbed the collar of his shirt and pulled him closer for another heated kiss. After a while he pulled away and put his forehead on mine as he whispered,"I love you too Dan".
