Neglected Prodigy

Chapter 3

3rd Person POV

Minato can't believe what he saw. His son has scars all of his body. One scar caught his eye. It looked like a big hole but it was patched up by someone. He can clearly see the outline of the hole and wondered what happened to his son while he was pampering Mito and Menma.

Realization dawned over him. He has neglected his son, he and Kushina had focused on Mito and Menma more than Naruto. They had neglected their youngest since he was three, when he can walk and talk. They did not care about him since he has the kyuubi, they feared, and ignored him. They did not train him because their pride took over, they are scared that they might make the kyuubi stronger and overthrow them. So they focused on Mito and Menma on making them strong and practicing how to keep the kyuubi at bay and defeat it.

While they were busy teaching their son and daughter useless things, they haven't been watching Naruto. They don't even know what date his first steps were and what word did he say first when he started talking. No pictures of him in any scrapbooks, picture books, and framed photos.

His existence was ignored, as if he was a ghost waiting for someone to discover him. The only people that discovered him are the bad ones.

They discovered him as the Nine Tailed Fox, not a young blond Naruto. Angered controlled them and they started beating up the helpless child. No mercy for him, oh no no. No one cared if he was a young child. All they want is to make him feel the pain the kyuubi what cause to them. But 100 times painful. People took a like to kunais and pitchforks as they stab the young Naruto with it. They enjoy hearing his pleas and sobs, they enjoyed making him feel the pain. But they did not stop. Night after night, months after months, and. Year after year. Every night you can hear a young boy's cries. You can see everyone looking at him with pity, but they didn't do anything to help him.

The boy has a healing factor that gives him a fast healing body. Whatever slash or stab he gets at the end it will be healed. But the healing factor does not heal pains from inside. It cannot help the young boy wash away the pain of being neglected and looked down upon. It cannot help take out the villagers look of disgust whenever he goes to the village. The only thing it can do is heal his body.

2 Hours Later

"Hokage-sama, the young boy is not on critical condition anymore. We will prepare him a room and from there he will heal and eventually leave." The nurse said leaving

"Son I promise you a better life starting today." Minato said to a sleeping Naruto

"No thanks Hokage-sama." Naruto said waking up with one eye "I already have a good life."

"You have a better life with Mito and Menma-sama." Naruto said looking at his and taking out bandage around his body

"I'm going home." Naruto said walking pass him

"I'll carry you." Minato said walking beside his 'son'

"No thanks Hokage-sama. I can manage." Naruto said

As Naruto is walking away Minato saw a bandage on his left arm. He wondered why Naruto didn't take out that only bandage while the rest he took out.

Namikaze Estate

"Kushina have you seen Naruo?" Minato asked

"Have you seen him? I haven't seen him in a while." Kushina said with worry in her voice

"Do you need anything Hokage and Kushina-sama?" Naruto said walking down the stairs

"No we are just wondering were where you in the past few days." Kushina said
