Lights Out- Jai

"It's getting bad out there Jai." You said while staring out the window. Watching as the wet heavy snowflakes fell quickly. There was already about 3 inches of snow accumulated on the ground just within the past 20 minutes. The weatherman had estimated for almost 2 feet and high winds.

"I really think you should go set the generator up before the power goes out and you have to do it freezing and in the dark."

"In a minute babe i just wanna finish the game real quick." Jai had been playing Fifa all afternoon pushing off setting up the generator, which in all honesty would probably take a good 5 minutes to set up. "I highly doubt the powers even gonna go out (Y/N)." he muttered.

Just as he finished the sentence the lights flickered before going out. Rolling your eyes you turned around to face Jai even though he couldn't even see your face now. You heard him mumbled a quiet "Fuck," before the sound of the controller hit the table.

"Stop glaring at me, I can sense it even though I can't see it. It's creepy." He chuckled a bit but you were anything but amused.

"No." You spat. "You ignored me all afternoon and now you have to go out there and do it in the dark. Also if you don't hurry is gonna get cold in here." You huffed with a sigh.

You could hear Jai shuffling around in the dark for his coat and shoes. Suddenly he was right in your face, his hands on your shoulders. Between your eyes almost being adjusted to the dark and how close Jai now was you could see the faint outline of his face.

"I'm sorry I didn't do it earlier. Now go get some extra blankets while I go do this." He said while pecking your lips.

As he walked out the front door with his flashlight in hand. A freezing gust of wind blew into the house causing you to shiver. Using the flashlight on your phone you found your sweatshirt and put it on. Grabbing blankets from the closet you placed them on the couch before going in search for candles to light. Thankfully you found a box of tealights in a drawer in the kitchen which you were quick to set up since now you were freezing.

Once everything was set up you snuggled under the blankets trying to stay warm until Jai came back in and could cuddle with you. Another cold gust of wind came whipping through the living room as Jai came back inside. Stomping his feet a few times to remove the excess snow from his shoes.

"I think my hands might fall off." He laughed.

"Well it wouldn't have been so bad if you'd done it earlier." You laughed no longer mad as Jai stood in front of you shivering. It was quite a funny sight to see. "But get over here so we can cuddle!"

Removing his snow covered coat, he made his way over to the couch gladly climbing under the warm blankets. Signing at how warm it felt against his cold skin. He cuddled up against you causing you to gasp.

"Holy shit Jai you're like an ice cube." You whined.

"Well it's like freaking negative a billion degrees outside. Get over it." He laughed kissing your forehead.

The space heater hadn't really had any effect yet on the temperature of the room. So every little chill caused your whole body to shudder, cuddling deeper into Jai's side you prayed for warmth. A little whine left Jai's lips catching your attention.

"Stop moving so much babe." He said

"But I'm freezing." You sighed playfully pushing on his chest.

A smirk played on his lips as you could tell he was in deep thought. Quickly out of nowhere his lips captured yours. At first it was a sweet innocent kiss but from there on it quickly escalated. He nipped at your bottom lip with his teeth slightly tugging on it causing a subtle moan to leave your lips. His hands gripped your hips guiding you onto his lap, a leg now on either side of him. But making sure the blanket still covered you so you weren't freezing.
