If you're wondering how the date went, I am so happy to say that it went amazing. He took me to his favorite pizza parlor and we took a drive by the beach. It was filled with laughter and stories.

He told me about his childhood and how much he adored his mom. It was so cute to see him talk about his mom and admiring how much he looked up to her. I told him about my childhood and a little bit about my parents and how much they traveled. 

- 1 week later

Today was the day that Miles was leaving and I was dreading it. There was a small knock on my door and I got up to open it. 

As I opened the door I noticed it was Miles and I smiled. "Today the day," he frowned and sat on my bed. 

"It is." I said and looked over to him.

"I've had so much fun with you Ky, thank you for that." he said and I smiled.

"Anytime Miles, you know where to find me," I said and he stood up in front of me. 

He looked into my eyes and I just stared into his for a while. He began leaning down and my heart started racing.

Soon he placed his lips on mine and it turned into a small kiss. He pulled away and smiled.

"I'm sorry," he laughed scratching the back of his neck. 

I got on my tippy toes and kissed him, he automatically kissed me back.

I pulled away and he had a smile on his face, "Don't be," I laughed.

"There's one more place I want to take you before you leave." I said and he nodded.

"Where shawty?" he asked.

"You'll see." I replied.

We made our way to the car and we both got in. He put the aux and began to play his mixtapes. I started singing along with him and he looked over at me surprised. 

"You heard these before?" he asked and I laughed. 

"Uhhh duh?" I said and he began laughing. 

"That just made my entire life ma," he said and I winked. 

"Where is ya favorite place to go?" He asked playing with his braids.

I looked at him and automatically said, "Disney."

"Disney?" he said and laughed.

"Hell yeah, that's my favorite place, I could go there everyday." I said.

"Noted." he smiled.

We arrived at the destination shortly and I had brought him to a small pet shop. 

"A pet shop?" he asked

"You see that house over there?" I said and pointed to a medium sized white home further down the road.

He nodded, "When I was younger, my family and I lived there. Whenever my parents would fight or I was sad, I would sneak out and hide out in this pet shop." I said.

His eyes were still focused on me and I continued, "The owner got used to me coming and would just let me play with the puppies until the store closed. This place always made me happy and helped me escape my thoughts." I finished and looked over at the house.

"Thank you for bringing me here and telling me." He smiled and I nodded. 

"Let's go play with some puppies!" he yelled and I laughed.

We walked into the pet shop and I automatically recognized the woman that owned the shop. She greeted us and didn't seem to recognize me.

"Ms. Reed, I don't know if you remember me but i'm Kylie, I used to come here a lot when I was younger," I said and she smiled.

"Oh my gosh, Kylie, you're so grown and beautiful." she said and gave me a hug. 

"And who's this? Let me guess, your boyfriend!" she smiled.

Before I was able to respond Miles shook her hand and said, "I'm Miles and I'm working on it," and I blushed. 

"You guys are so cute, take good care of each other." she said.

"Of course." Miles replied and I smiled.
