Happy Promise Day!

I woke up with a bright smile this morning, don't know why maybe it's the breeze in the air was making me feel good. It was a day off and so I went out for a walk in the near by park, cold weather and hot chocolate perfect combo.

I walked in at my favorite café, NYC Delight. As usual took up my favorite spot near the fire place, the waitress over here was one of my good friend, she didn't need to guess about what would I have.

Waitress: Your special french vanilla coffee mam.

Kriya: Thanks Helly, but since when did you start calling me mam?

Helly: Since you've been disappearing lately.

Kriya: Sorry babes, you know academy and events always catches up to my neck. Have been really difficult lately to get some break, lucky for me to have a day off today else you would't be seeing my face for weeks. -I said in a sorry expression while sipping the warm beverage.

Helly: Is it only because of work or because of your Secret Admirer?

I almost spat out the coffee, how the hell did she know? She was eventually trying to keep a straight face in front of me.

Helly: I have my own sources you know.

I gave a long stern glare so she could spill the beans.

Helly: Jayden.

Kriya: Jerk.

She just laughed at my silly behavior, of course I won't like it if someone gossips about my personal life even with my friends unless I want it to be discussed. As she left the table to resume her work, I got an text from my dear Secret Admirer.

Having a great time? Well I can assure you that there's more to come, for now ask your friend to turn on the radio.

What the hell? No sweet talks, no unexpected messages or gifts. Instead he's ordering me? Ugh...once you come at my sight, I swear I will kill you.

I know your planning on to kill me, but that's of no use because you've already slayed me with you killer eyes.

Ugh...Reyaansh Singhania your just impossible, I felt like shouting.

*Beep Beep*

I was already irritated by his lame way to praise himself and signaled Helly to on the radio. So she did, it was a candid chat for lovers who wanted to speak their hearts out for their better half.

RJ: So guys, let's hear who our next caller might be? Hello dear candid, welcome to Z100 New York radio station's candid chat special. So please tell our listener's whom you are and whom are you going to open your heart for?

Caller: I don't need to give her my intro, she can recognize my voice even from miles away. I've been playing Secret Admirer these days, I don't need to open my heart to her as she's already holding it's key. It's for my love Kriya Ghai.

Hearing my name, Helly got super excited that she dropped her writing pad while I was extremely happy to finally hear his voice after a long time which seemed like ages.

Caller: Kriya, it's time for me to make a promise. I know some promises I've made are left incomplete and some broken. This time I'm gonna complete the incomplete ones, make new ones and fix old ones. Kriya, I promise you that you will remain my one and only dance partner, for now and forever. I promise to make you smile everyday and night, I promise to fight with you the day and patch up the evening. I promise that my hatred will remain for you and so as my love, my anger for you, my happiness for you. My tears for you, my smile for you, my ignorance for you, my care for you. As he ended the call I was shedding non stop tears of happiness, he can't never stop surprising me, Helly just gave me a bone crushing hug.

Helly: Kriya, your Secret Admirer's ideas are like diamonds.

Kriya: You mean they're so valuable?

Helly: No, I mean they're so rare.

We both laughed at the silly joke of her's and soon as expected he messaged once again.

*Beep Beep*
