Reunition

Peony took a deep breath as she looked in the mirror. Today was the day when all of her mother and fathers old friends would be visting and she couldn't have been more excited.

She loved all of her moms old friends and their kids. In fact when ever she walked by her mom and dad's place Peony could often hear them chating with one another on the ports.

As Peony walked out of her room she saw another reason why she couldn't wait for more company. Her grandparents.

Peoney tecnically didn't have granparents seeing as on her dad's side they had died from the terrible luinous plage and on her mom's side the father was never found and the mother died from a common sickness. However her mother's adoptive family was another story.

They had asked (begged) to be invited to the Ball and her mother, Cinder and reluctantly agreed. Unfortunetly, they came early and acted liked they owned the place so  it was incredibly annoying.

However it was very strange that nither Peony's grandmother nor aunt could look her in the eye. Once she had asked Cinder about this and all she had said was that it had to do twith whom she was named after.

But none of that was important now. As Peony stood outside in the launch pad waiting for the ramption which had all of the guests.

"Peony there you are! I was going to get a maid to go and find you. Thank goodness your here. They'll be here soon." said Cinder. Her mother was beautiful as always. Peony was thankful that she was in a good mood because if not Cinder would have scolded her for being a few seconds late (not everyone had a clock in their head!).

Her father stood next to her mother and on the other side was her older brother, Rikan, and Iko.  Just then a ship came into view and very riskily landed on the launch pad. Nobody could contain their smile. The fun had just begun.
