It'd been merely a few minutes before Vlyad had opened his eyes again, it felt as if he had never been outside, as if he had been cuddled up in the grey blanket the whole time. He looks at the window, frost and ice was clawing at the windows and it made him shiver, so he looks away.
Vlyad gazed at the fire instead, calm and content. He was glad to be taken into Erin's hospitality. He was also happy to know that Erin didn't get that stupid message from Zane to not be let in to his home. Zane probably forgot to call Erin.
Vlyad had asked everyone in the neighborhood to let him stay. But everyone neglected and ignored him. It was obvious they got the message. Maybe, Erin did get the message too but pretended he didn't... Hm, there was something about the way he was talking after Vlyad had told him about the dare, as if he knew about it already.
It wasn't very long before Erin came back with a cup of tea, the steam rising from it so elegantly, seeming as elegant as Erin is. Vlyad took it gently from him, the cup warming his hands. A little too warming. Vlyad began to fumble with it in his hands slightly.
"Thanks, Erin," Vlyad took a sip from his tea, which was still really fucking hot and made him flinch in slight surprise.
Erin smirked, "Anything for my little mouse..."
Vlyad hated that nickname, but decided to ignore him. He set his cup aside, waiting for the hot tea to cool down a bit. He curled himself up tightly, creating a cocoon for himself under the blanket.
This was exactly what he had wished for. He sighed with joy and almost fell asleep again when he suddenly felt himself being lifted off the armchair.
"Hm?" Vlyad was confused before he realized Erin had just picked him up.
"Heh, I want to sit down too, you know," Erin chuckled, cradling Vlyad in his arms like a newborn.
Erin sat on the armchair and reseated Vlyad onto his lap. He leaned back against Erin's stomach, but the buttons on Erin's coat stabbed his back slightly. It wasn't that bad, but Vlyad was feeling very sensitive to pain at the moment.
"Ow! Erin? Could you please take off your coat? The buttons are digging into me..." Vlyad scooted to the far end of Erin's lap, basically onto Erin's knees.
Erin silently obeys and unbuttons his coat, taking it off and throwing it aside and onto the ground behind the armchair. Now his grey corset was seen. No more coat, no more hurt.
Vlyad lay back again, much more comfortable this time. He felt as if he was lying on the most luxurious bed ever made; The Erin Bed.
"Erin... You are really comfortable..." Vlyad said as his eyes drop with tiredness, "Could I spend the night here with you? I don't want to go back on the streets."
"What makes you think I'll say no?" Erin answers as he slumps back in the armchair, "I'm not that cruel... Plus it's a gale force outside."
Vlyad chuckled slightly as to reduce any awkwardness from Erin's statement. Erin never really has been a wicked person for as far has he has known him. He's always been a gentle giant. In the back of his mind, he was relieved he wasn't cruel.
Vlyad wrapped the blanket around his waist so he could use his arms. He reached to grab his now cooled down cup of tea and sipped it quietly, this time his lips not experiencing the burning sensation like last time. It was perfect.
"Good point, Erin." Vlyad giggled again a bit after a few minutes of silence. Unfortunately, he shouldn't have giggled, because he spilled some tea on his shirt.
"Oh shit, I spilled my tea!" Vlyad seemed suddenly distressed, quickly putting his tea down again. He started to hyperventilate during his panic, and looked at Erin in total stress.
"You panic too much," Erin said softly, "Just take your shirt off."
"I... Alright," Vlyad sighed as he took off his jacket and shirt, tossing them next to Erin's coat.
"I'll keep you warm, you don't have to worry so much," Erin comments reassuringly as he wraps his arms around Vlyad, holding him to his chest that was now resonating as he purred.
Vlyad blushes slightly. He seemed really awkward now that he wasn't wearing his shirt and jacket. He should have kept his jacket on, a bit late now.
"I'm still quite cold, Erin," Vlyad sighed, thinking Erin might offer him back his jacket.
Erin uncurled his arms around Vlyad and stated, "Sometimes it helpful to move around to keep warm. I run around the block every now and again."
"Are you suggesting we go do a cross-country run outside?" Vlyad gulped.
"Of course not," Erin answers with a soft snicker, "I'm just saying I think you should move around a bit to get warm. We can do a little bit of excersize."
