*this is my first anime fan fic. Bare with me -.-' I TRIED OKAY*

I woke up to the loud beeping of my alarm clock. I wanted to just crush it to a million pieces. I turned it off and sulked to my closet. I am seriously regretting my decision at this moment. I was granted the splendid opportunity to go to Ouran High School on a full ride scholarship. I only chose to go to this school because this was where my mother went to high school, and I want to experience something she could have experienced. I don't know a lot about my parents, really, I only know what the orphanage was able to find out. My parents died on impact in a car accident. They were both shunned from their family, so I had no relatives to take me in. The only thing my parents made a plan for, when I was born, was their apartment and their belongings that would be under my name by the time I reached a certain age. Low and behold, I am that certain age. Others have lived in it until I moved in a couple days ago. How am I able to keep an apartment at this age? Two part time jobs everyday after school. Yeah, living the high school dream. I sleepily put on the only uniform the orphanage was able to help me get, which was a hammy down boy's uniform. The color faded, some seems are undone, and small holes on the cuff and pant hem. I let my golden brown hair down, and tried as best as I could to put on make up, no matter how sleepy I was. From what I have heard of OHS, it is filled with what I hate. Snooty rich people and vibrant colors. This will be fantastic, considering my whole wardrobe and being revolves around the color black and grey skies. I had some toast and tea before I made my walk to school. I drowned out the city noise with my music. Dear God, here goes nothing. I walked through the huge gates and they weren't kidding about the "pink-ness" of this school. What have I gotten myself into? I continued to walk through the school. This place is huge. How in the world is this a school? Chandeliers, intricate designs on the walls, paintings, and sculptures... where the fuck am I... the girls are in puffy yellow dresses... how is that a uniform? Dear God, I'm going to vomit with all of this color. I found my class and chose the chair to the far back corner. I sulked in my chair. I could literally be anywhere else right now ( okay more like I would be back at the school next to the orphanage that barely had any desks), but I just had to want to follow in my mother's footsteps. Just isolate yourself, like you always do. You'll be fine.

I began to hear mumbling behind me, and I turned around to see auburn hair colored twins looking at me. One of them scoffed and turned to the other twin, "you're right."

"What?" I crossed my arms and legs. I swear to God. If he is smart he won't say a word.

"It's so obvious your uniform is a hammy down." The one who scoffed came over to my desk, and leaned on the one next to mine.

"Besides the obvious fading, bagginess on your body, tears on the hem and seem, and the fact you're a girl in a boy's uniform" the other twin that happened to have a higher voice than the other one, followed his brother and leaned on a desk next to his brother.

"It's the model they made ten years ago," they said in unison

"I thought they burned them all," the deeper voiced twin said without a care, and they both laughed. At this point I'm pissed. Where do these rich people get the idea that they can ridicule anyone who isn't to their standard? The anger was building up inside of me, and they did not care at all.

I stood up and pointed at the deep voiced twin, "listen, I don't know where you," I pointed to the other twin, "and you, had the wonderful idea in your little brains-" at this point they were completely taken back, as if no one has ever spoken to them in the manner I just did. I was cut off by a girl who just slipped in.

"I'm sorry, that the twins are bothering you they tend to be annoying at times," the brothers sweat dropped, she offered me her hand, "I'm Haruhi Fujioka,"
