Let me go ahead and start this by saying this is basically my whole intake of this situation.
As you most likely know, Felix was trying to show how far something can go for 5 dollars on a website. He requested for these people to hold up a sign saying "Death to all Jews". While it was meant as a joke, it actually happened, and the media called him out for supporting antisemitism and being a Nazi.Specifically the Wall Street Journal.
The WSJ pulled up 10 videos and used it as evidence to support their claim about Felix being a Nazi. (A couple of the videos did not make sense as evidence, but you do you, boo.)
Now I did not support the joke. And Felix apologized for it. In the video above, he apologizes for the joke.
Pretty much any media that has to do with Youtubers is two things; money, or a mistake.
I mean, whatever happened to mentioning the amazing things they've done, like raising money for charity?
But I guess that doesn't matter.
Shortly after his apology,
I-
*sigh*
I don't understand this
...did you fuckers even WATCH the apology?
The whole thing is just very painful to watch.
Honestly.
I completely agree that this was a personal attack against him.
The whole thing unfortunately caused the second season of Scare PewDiePie to be canceled.
Everyone who was helping produce the show and acting in the show just lost it in one second. What's the point of that?
I just feel like this is being dragged on at this point. Felix apologized. And how does WSJ react?
Felix revealed that after the apology was released, WSJ journalists came to his personal address and asked how he felt about the subject.
This whole thing was unnecessary.
Felix did not mean anything harmful, and he apologized.
That is all.
