Azral returned back unto Briar, after hundreds of years of sheer isolation. But little did he know that within those years of peace, chaos and damnation still resides upon the lands he left. He walked towards the heart of the town, covering himself with a dark and tattered cloak, with the people staring at him in awe. Curiosity and dread filled their hearts for they fear that this man is a raider, coming to their town alone.
Azral sought none but he felt the presence of fear shrouding the place. Fear, that was planted by the vicious bandits, killing innocents like savages with their vile weapons of axes and clubs. But he knows nothing of it until the raiders arrived once more to collect and to plunder everyone's possession.
"Hand it over, you whore!" yelled one of the raiders as he attempts to snatch the woman's daughter
. The lady had nothing but her daughter.. She works in a mead hall as a harlot to feed her daughter and sustain their lives. Everything became scarce..
"I said, hand it over!"
everyone panicked and became more afraid as they realize that the raiders are beginning to make slave out of each and every one of them.
Azral immediately walked over and vigorously held the man's arm in a firm grip,
"Let go of the child," he says.
"Release me, you prick!" replied the raider as he struggled to escape Azral's grip.
Unable to free himself, he attempted to strike Azral with his ax. Before the man could ever harm him, Azral immediately broke the raider's arm like a twig. At first, there was silence, then there was screaming in agony, coming from the man whose is bent backwards with his bone, sticking out. Azral struck the man and impaled him with his thumb, beneath his chin. He pulled, ripping the man's jaw off his head.
Azral turned to the other raiders with their mate's severed jaw on his palm. They cried mercy as they ran off, in fear of getting brutally killed by the being in anonymity.
"Who are you, being?" asked one of the innocents that stands with the crowd.
Azral turned, removing his cloak and he replies,
"Vengeance."
Everyone's curiosity remained unsatisfied. Nevertheless, they held him hero of Briar.
