The Winter Gems

Prologue

Steven opened his eyes and saw a field of beautiful pink field and saw Rose Quartz at the other side of the field facing backwards and holding a sword. Steven walked towards her, he walked little by little then Steven shouted, "Mom! is that really you?"

Rose looked at Steven and was shocked to see her son and lowered her sword and said, " Steven?" Then a big roar roamed over the land and the pink field turns into grayish pink.

Rose held up her sword and Steven said, "Mom!?" a little bit scared.

The ground started to shake and Rose shouted at Steven, "Steven get out of here!!!"

Steven was confused and shocked to heard that from his mother and said, "Mom?"

The shaking got stronger and Rose shouted again, "Steven get out!"

Steven shouted, "No!!!"

Rose screamed, "Steven get out of this place before she gets here!!!"

Steven asked, "Before who got here and who's she?"

The pink field went black, he looked at Rose Quartz in front of her a black shadow of a diamond rose. Rose gripped on her sword very tightly. Thousands of human of different era went out of the shadow and scattered everyone, Rose yelled, "Steven get out of here now." Steven wondered why are the other human freaking out, another roar roamed over the land and the human fell into the ground with fear. Then from the shadow 4 gigantic arms popped out and started to grab the human. Steven walked back little by little until he hitting a rock and feel down, Rose looked at Steven and brought back her attention to the 4 arms. She started to fifth against 1 arm the other kept on catching the humans. When Rose hit the arm a loud shriek of a girl's was heard. The humans, Steven and Rose covered their ears because of the loud shriek then all four arms stroke Ros but she defended herself with her shield. Steven stood up after enduring the pain and saw her mother being squish by 4 gigantic arms and he screamed "Mom you can do it." Rose looked at Steven and lost some of her grip but still managed to hold on. The arms pushed Rose's shield down, then one of the arm punch Rose. Rose was knocked back then the 4 gigantic arms resumed and took all of the human. Steven saw everything in a distance and someone pushed him aside then he saw his dad running towards Rose and he shout " Dad no!!!" Greg went over to Rose and tried to wake her up. He seemed to loose hope and cry a little, Steven walked closer to them. Until Rose coughed, saw Greg and said "Greg!" Very weakly. Greg said relieved "Oh Rose you gave me a scare. " Rose chuckled and Greg help her to stand. After removing the dirt on Rose's clothes, Greg held Rose's hand and the both of them looked at each other then at Steven. Steven was happy but a little shy. The couple chuckled and Steven joined. Then the arms bursted out from the shadow and tried to take Steven but Rose managed to kill two of the arms but the other two took Greg. Rose and Steven heard Greg's cry for but it was too late to save him. Rose kneeled and looked at Steven and asked "Steven are you okay?" Steven nodded to her face and Rose smiled and said "Thank God nothing bad happened to you." Steven blushed a little and when he opened his mouth to asked her mom something. Rose was poofed and he saw one arm and took Rose's gem and the other one took him and he yelled "No!!!" Whisper of voices filled Steven's ear, the whisper said "She killed her.", " Rose did it.", "Pink diamond was shattered." Then he woke up and he saw the zoo but gray and the ground started to shake and he looked behind him and saw Yellow Diamond walking and he turned his head and saw Blue diamond grieving. Yellow Diamond helped Blue Diamond to stand and said "There's still time."
