Everyone knows that feeling of the first day of Summer vacation. You just feel overwhelmed with the activities you have planned with your friends. Yeah? Well I don't..

As soon as I woke up, I started a few chores. When I was walking past the kitchen, I noticed my mother cooking breakfast,. The same mother who missed my own graduation, the mother who threatens to put me and my brother out constantly, the same mother who is inactive in our relationship. That mother... cooking breakfast. My eyes widened as I looked into the skillet over her shoulders.

The aroma of  vegetarian omelets, turkey bacon, and sweet hotcakes danced around my nose. I walked into the basement, through my clothes in the washer and ran back upstairs to the kitchen.

"What's the occasion?" I asked cautiously. "What do you mean Margo?" She responded sweetly flipping a hotcake. "Breakfast should be ready in about 15." She said not looking up from the pan. I walked back upstairs, this time to Erick's room. I took a deep breath before knocking. Before I could place my knuckles onto the door, he opened it and stood in the doorway.

"What?" he asked leaning on the door. "Mom cooked breakfast. She wants us down in 15." I responded.

"Okay." he said agitated.

"Why are you always so cold to me?" I asked looking directly into his eyes. All he said was "Fuck you Natalie." My heart sank when he said those words. Who would have thought three simple words could be so powerful.

Fuck you Natalie.

I began to think what could I have done to make a human being show so much hate towards one person. "Breakfast is ready." My mother shouted from the kitchen. I managed to fix my face and walk downstairs. I grabbed a plate of the delicacies and sat down at the small table for four. Before I could take a bite, my mother asked me to wait for my brother.

A few moments later, he trudged into the kitchen and was making his way upstairs. "Uh-hem." My mom said gesturing him to sit at the table. He cocked his head back and sat down at the table, directly across from me. "Can you please bow your heads." My mom said looking at us.

Father God, I ask for you to bless my two children. We know of your power God and we ask that you send your blessings upon us. We ask that you give us the opportunity to succeed in life. Father, I ask to be forgiven of my sins. I pray that you will guide my two children into your arms. Amen.

"Who was she talking to?" I aked myself. "I thought her father, my grandpa, Matthew, died years ago. She is obviously delusional."

We all ate in silence and Erick made his way upstairs and my mother into the basement. I went back into my room and laid on my chilly white sheets.

I pulled up into the ally in the back of Natalie's house. How did I know where she lived? Why wouldn't I know. I mean, I 'm in love with her, and she is in love with me.

I grabbed my digital camera from the glove compartment and stood outside of Margo's window. You could tell it was hers because of the tie-die curtains that flowed on her windows. I watched her almost everyday. Everything about her makes me want to scream. She Is perfection all around. From her brilliant smile, to her natural scent of vanilla.  I wanted her.

I made my way to her window but was stopped in my tracts due to her looking outside. I immediately dropped on the ground and crawled to the bottom of her window and sat down until I heard footsteps leave. I cautiously got back up and took a few pictures of her living her everyday life. After a few minutes, I ran back to my car.
