Extra - Love Letters
The note that Kakyoin gave Jotaro at the airport before he left for to study abroad :
Hey, JoJo! I hope you reached the school grounds safely. I hope you have a good time learning what you so love! You would be pleased to know that I got a commission from someone! Can you believe it? And the amazing thing is, it was the art lecturer from the university I'm posted to that requested! Isn't it wonderful? Anyway, I wish you the best of luck in your studies! I will miss you! And so will your mother! So, come back asap! If you want to chat, drop an email, a text, a call, anything! Can't wait to hear from you!-Kakyoin"
The note that Jotaro wrote on the last page of the scrapbook he made for Kakyoin for a Christmas gift:
Firstly, I hope you enjoyed the gift even though it isn't really all that much. I figured art supplies were too boring. Anyway, I'm glad that we became friends and have been for years. You're a great guy, Kakyoin. I couldn't ask for better. I'm sorry if I have been so busy these days. School does sap the life force out of me with an intent to kill. But, whatever the case, know that I will be there when you call. I will never truly leave you, ever. I will be there when you call out to me.Merry Christmas, Kakyoin.
-Kujo Jotaro
Even until his death, Kakyoin never got to finish the scrap book. There weren't enough photos to fill it up. He never got to read the letter.
An email that Kakyoin wrote to Jotaro after he visited the ocean alone after he had gone to a therapist with Yasuo:
Hey, JoJo! I hope you have been doing well. I know it's weird to suddenly email out of the blue. It has been quite busy on my end. How have your studies been? How's the internship? I just received a commission earlier this week! I'm quite excited to do it. I'm not too sure what else I should say now. Nothing else too eventful happened. Once again, I hope you are safe and well.
-Kakyoin
Jotaro replied to the email a week later. He called instead of writing an email back.
An email Jotaro wrote a few days after telling Kakyoin he was getting married:
Hey, Kakyoin. Sorry I had to leave again so soon. I know that it seemed unreasonable to just leave Japan after telling you news like that so suddenly. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you in any way. I had business to attend to immediately regarding my internship and my upcoming thesis work. I wished I could have stayed longer. I'm sorry. I hope you don't misunderstand and misjudge my tone, I'm not good with words as you know. I hope you are doing well.
-Jotaro
Kakyoin replied with a simple "It's alright. I know you don't mean no harm." And that was that. Because Kakyoin could never deny Jotaro.
A letter that Kakyoin wrote to
and gave to Jotaro on his wedding day:Congratulations, JoJo! I'm glad you have found the love of your life and are both happily married! I wish you both the best and a peaceful marriage! And of course, many children! Haha! Well, I'm not sure about how you would feel about kids. But judging from the way you are now, I'd say not so great? Joking! Anyway, I hope you two see only happy days as you both carry on in life! May you have a wonderful year and future ahead!
