It is 9:15 am and I have no idea what I should be doing. This ship is so big and marvelous, I don't even know if I belong. Sure, my mother and father are slightly wealthy, but we're no first class.
It's the first day on the ship of dreams, at least that's what everyone calls it, and I'm hoping to find someone to befriend other than my brother Joshua and his third class girlfriend Maria.
My mother and father don't like Joshua dating a third class women but he didn't mind. My father wants me to find a first class gentleman so that we can be even more wealthy, I thought that we were wealthy enough. I never really look for money in people, I really just look at someone's attitude, and maybe looks.
At dinner, I laid eyes a man with no wife, but he had three kids, two girls and a boy. The boy was as handsome as can be, I think I might have stared a little.
My father pulled me away from my gaze at one of the most beautiful creatures that ever walked this earth, or at least I thought so. He has blonde shaggy hair, crystal blue eyes, and he was dressed like a gentleman.
I wondered as we were sitting in the dining area if I would ever see him again. I really wanted to, but my parents had such a close watch on me to make sure I didn't get into any trouble with the first class. I am an above average nineteen year old girl, I have an amazing education and an amazing family, but Im not particularly happy with how my life was going.
Sure, I am on the White Star Lines Titanic, barley any normal person would get this opportunity to go to America for a better life and a new start, but all I really want is to be loved by a man that I loved in return. I want to be happy like my brother and my parents.
I keep on seeing this first class lady, a women of many secrets. She has fiery red hair and a perfect facial structure, she was obviously loved by the one her heart belonged to. I think her name is Rose, but I'm not entirely sure. I also saw another women, she was older than "Rose", maybe in her forties. Her name is Molly, I never got a last name though. She had a son, I don't know his name. He was not my type at all.
After dinner we are going to take a walk around the ship, but we are all splitting up and going our separate ways. Joshua and Maria, my mother and father, and then me and my thoughts. I started some small talk with a few other passengers as we went down the rickety elevator. Nobody really liked my presence, or my existence for that matter. I am alone in this world forever and always.
I'm finally at the back of the ship and I'm watching as the turbines push us along our path, I might just jump.
