Before long, you are in the final stretch of your High School life and conversations of which College to enroll started. You talked about this to Adam, and he asked you to apply for Mederian College, which is the college he wanted to apply for. Your dad asked his colleagues at his company and they said the (Favourite subject) programme at Kinsley College was the best. You done a lot of research and asked your teachers.
While talking to your (Favourite Subject) teacher, he asked to confirm whether you were from Japan. You nodded your head. He then talked about this College, Shinsuku College in Japan. He had previously went there for an attachment and he found the program there really good. He said if you could not decide on a college here, he said going back to Japan wouldn't be too bad of a decision too.
You then went home and talked about it to your parents. They listened, and agreed that it was a good college, and it was back home. They knew you missed Japan, and they know that it would be terrible to keep you here in America with them. You almost imediately applied for Shinsuku.
However, as time passed, you started to worry. You heard that it was harder to apply and get into overseas colleges with the SATs. Shinsuku, you found out, didn't really look at SAT results but other factors that they did state. In Japan, they process applicants based on the college entrance exams each college sets for themselves, while in America, everyone takes on huge exam, called the SAT and colleges processes applicants based on that test's score. It was rare that Japanese Colleges have successful applicants from overseas because of this reason.
*Timeskip to next week*
You eagerly opened your e-mail. You saw that Shinsuku replied to your e-mail about applications. You screamed at their reply, causing your parents to run to your room in worry.
'(F/n)! What happened? Are you okay?' Your parents asked.
You looked at them with tears in your eyes. They panicked and ran to look at your computer screen.
'Congratulations, your application is Sucessfull. We hope to see you back in Japan in two weeks time. Thank you for applying to Shinsuku.'
Your parents screamed in joy, and the three of you hugged each other, with tears streaming down your eyes.
You then start packing for Japan.
