I'm just a girl,
living in silence.
The world turns around me,
in actions of violence.
You really think I condone their ways,
their sadistic twists and games they play?
If you don't know me,
you could think they own me.
I'm someone of importance null,
regrets and worries trapped in soul.
Silence is my Novocaine,
Silence the the searing pain.
Antagonize me out of pure spite,
the girl with neither bark nor bite.
Silence; It suits me well,
tailored to fit like the ring to the bell.
Here I am, alone I sit,
In a room full of people who tell you to quit.
To them it's a joke, all in fun
But will they laugh when the deed is done?
Silence... they think I don't care...
Reflect away the teasing and glares,
in preservation of my own life.
