Chapter two

Dylon woke up and said "Day 89 of school to day will be different." she looked at the roof like it was a new planet or place, pulled her diary out from under her bed. She looked at it like it was the only thing that was her but as if it was a part of her as well at the same time. She started writing with passive aggressive strokes.

Day 89 of the same lie 

The same life

I have a weird feeling like 

Today will be different  

I will think of the stranger that never call'd

I wont see David the bar tender again 

But i will go see my family today or should i?

What is different about today?

If only i could put my finger on it 

Am i angry or sad what is it

All i know is it

She took a shower only it took longer when she cried she cried she cried longer and for more reasons than normal it was the anniversary of her life falling apart. She dried off got ready for the long day of school and went to the tom thumb but did not wait for him she did not even look at the place where he stood looking at her like a schoolgirl with a crush on the teacher. She got gas and the bag of candy from when she was on her way out the cashier asked if she wanted cash back, she was in such a rush she almost for got to get the money for her aunt to help with the kids. After getting her cash she was on her way to school when she saw the stranger. She had dropped a piece of paper out her window when she drove near him, and kept driving and when she saw him she realized how cheesy it was to do such a thing and she started worrying that if he would call it would be for sex and thats all so she worried all the way till she got to school. She was earlier than normal because she did not sleep the night before she cried all night till morning where she she started watching tv on her laptop. She did not wish to deal with some asshole of a teacher so she waited in the parking lot. A teacher came to the window till they realized who she was and left her alone. She saw the most ridiculous thing the stranger. He was going to the school. He pulled out a piece of paper and was looking at it so intensely, she thought she could sneak away. But out of the corner of his eye he saw her walking in a random direction. He got out the car and ran to her. She pretended she did not see him. She just kept walking, but he said "hey stranger" so loud the teacher on the other side of the courtyard looked up to see what was going on. She turned around and said "what?" loud and angry worried and upset she was almost yelling it at him. She was angry he never call'd her and he knew it but he did not know what the significance of the day was to her and how today was not the day to piss her off. He smiled at her and through her, his wallet. She gawked at it thinking of when she first saw him it only made her more mad and Dylon said "Am I a prostitute or something?" He laughed at her and said "open it" she kept walking as he followed and opened it. She stopped in her tracks. He Smiled and said I told you so grin going all over his face. She gawked at a piece of paper that had her name and her number on it and she started to smile and started a conversation with him. she never forgot him for an instance and how his curly dirty blond hair hit the light and each strand of his hair seemed to be infused with gold glistening in the sun. she wanted to know why he kept it and never call'd? So she asked him why did you keep it? He said the most perfect answer for why he never call'd. He said "well when a stranger makes a scene in front of a store. And you will never live it down you tend to keep the only proof that someone was into you, and you could have been a serial murder trying to bring me to my death, so I did not call sorry. Dylon laughed at him and asked him where he was headed? He just asked where is guidance? She laughed at him and said "you found the right stranger, I practically live in the guidance counselor's room". So they went to the guidance counselor's office and Dylon waited out side of the door. So she didn't have to get her lecture till later, so she hid till he came out of the office. when he came out the guidance counselor's office she came with him and gave him a piece of paper and gave him a have a nice year smile that she gives to all the new kids. He gave a smile back and as he left she saw him roll his eyes to the back of his head like his head was going to explode. No it looked like it would explode if he did it for any longer. She came out from out of the corner. When he saw her he stopped rolling his eyes and gave her a smile, that made her feel like she was floating and was infusing with sunlight at the same time. She was not thinking about what day that she was reliving in her head. He looked at her and asked "is there a place to run away to that we can hang at" she said "ya I know a place here at school but it will take a minute to get there from here." he said "that's cool let's go." she started walking and stopped dead in her tracks and stared at him and he s "you are the only one of us who know where we're going" she looked at him and said that "me taking you has a condition. Your name what is it." he laughed at her and said "you will find out when we get there" she giggled and started to run and yield back at him "rase you to the football field." she gave him a smirk because he was new and did not know where it was so she had advantage. So he ran 3 steps behind her till he saw the football field and then they were neck and neck till he shot of like a bullet to the field. She was right behind him barely losing. He looked so confused and watched where she was going as she walked up all of bleachers that seemed to touch the sky from the bottom. He followed still confused. They reached the top and their was a place for announcers to talk about the game and other football stud neither one really looked inside because they went to the roof. They planned to meet up after school till she looked at him and saw they had all the same classes guidance and all. She had forgot about the price that she said was owed for her taking him thair. She very abruptly said "give it to me what is it." like she had cancer or something he looked so confused till he remembered he had to tell her his name he mumbled under breath "Cameron". She could not here him so she got in his face and yelled "WHAT!" right in his ear he cringed from her loud voice. And he yelled "alright alright it's CAMERON!"he said his name so loud she cringed when he said it. He looked out and asked what's your story she said "I have a mom and I live with her own home schooled and not good with people." he laughed and said "that's the one they gave you what's your real story." she baked for a minute not knowing to say how did he know that??? He saw her face so he started to explain I know you were in the program you were a partner and your information is clarified so whoever you were partnered with was powerful, maybe it all ended in flames, or a case went sideways or all of the above but unless it was one of theses thing I should have been able to find out that's why I know this. Her face went cold as she said "so you're in the program they said I would not have to beal with pests digging into my past and that just meant erasing it. So who told you about me they must be high on top or old who was it." he said "it was my handler. He gave me a name, your name and said to find you, and inform you. The name they gave me was the same as the one on a piece of paper that was given to me by a stranger. So I assumed you knew who I was, and that I was coming. Maybe you were telling me that you knew already plus it could be a trap ,and you never answered my question." her face was cold from eliyer and now it looked dead with no emotion while she looked out into sky that was so close she felt like she could touch it. She said "fine i'll tell you some things not all and you can not interrupt me while I speak." he shook his head in agreement. So she began telling him "he was my father and my partner, I did not know him as my dad and he did not know he was a father I was not going to tell him and be like hey you got a kid now, who is also your partner. No but I did look for him he was why I joined the program. He was my handler and was a high rank (tops) the second highest actrily when you research the program but you only get three people the top three and if he was not a top agent I would never have found him. So tops were going bad and so us being the best partner ship they put us on it and the dude who told me he would not tell my father anything but he went bad so when we got there we had a plain and the top figured it out and captured me he held me captive and told my father when he came to get me. He was my partner my only one. When he found out I was his daughter it was over he lowered his gun not get angry and try to save me he just left he was the best now and he never came I was held captive as bait for a while I needed to be rescued but he never came he could he never did he was not the highest yet so the people above him gave me a deal leave my aunt and my siblings and go into a program to hide from my father they were to seal my past and they blasted me with a woman who was in a program not ours but one simuler  she is all about routine. So your handler what is his name there are only two people who would be able to tell you what they did Patrick and rod. Which one was it." he said "I wish I knew I have never gotten his name or met him we talk one a phone that he sends me in the mail with a number on the back taped to the phone." she mumbled under her breath "so it is Patrick not Rod"
