Jim was watching Mick and I the whole time. He then went to where we were standing. He stood there in silence but you could feel what he was saying. He then picked up the mask trembling and sang quietly to himself, "well the day destroys the night.....night divides the day...tried to run, tried to hide.." He then crushed the mask to pieces and threw it off the balcony. He then screamed to the top of his lungs and threw anything he could find. After the rage had declined he started laughing louder and louder till the ringing of insanity flooded his brain. "She left me... she left ME! IM THE LIZARD KING HAHA I CAN DO ANYTHING BABE!"
After another hour of going insane, the phantom put on his cape and mask and walked on down the hall. He came to a door and looked inside. He then wrote a note that said "Mick... i want to kill you." And then left it on the dresser. Jim now went back to his chambers to prepare for this show. He then started thinking about me. Oh, he really started thinking about everything. He walked the halls once more to my room and showed his face through the mirror. I saw his face... i was drawn to it. He had one of the most gorgeous faces ever.
Those eyes, were a rich blue, darker than Micks'. They were just so captivating I couldn't stop myself. No matter how many times I'd see him i could never get out of it. Oh but it got worse, he started singing and it was beautiful. I felt as if I could just die in his arms. "Before you slip into consciousness..." And the song went on. I forgot i even hated him. And just as I reached for his hand, Mick came out of nowhere and smashed a brick into the mirror,
shattering it completely. I fell to the floor in shock. "Oh my god Mick I didn't know what i was doing... he puts me in a trance... and". "I know Joy, i know." Mick said as he gave me a hug. "He's gone now it's going to be okay, I promise."
It was now time for the show, i felt nervous but at least i got to look forward to singing with grumpy Roger. Funny, he wasn't so grumpy now. Walls may divide everything else but not Roger.
Everything was going beautifully I spotted so many lovely people in the audience. People like Frank Sinatra, Robin Zander, Syd Barrett and The Psychedelic King. But I couldn't find Jim or Mick, so i started to worry.
It was now time for me to sing Don't Leave me now. But just as i was about to sing... Jim sang instead. He was near the ceiling by the stage lights. Everyone gasped in fear as he had captured Mick and put a rope around his throat.
