Hermione opened her eyes to rays of sunlight entering the room.
She looked around and almost forgot where she was.
Then it hit her.
She was married. She and Severus were on their honeymoon.
Hermione smiled and lay back down. She turned and looked into those hypnotising onyx eyes of her husband.
"Good morning, Wife," he drawled as she kissed his forehead.
"It sure is, Husband," she answered with a giggle.
"Well then," Severus said with a devilish grin,"I know something we can do."
He pulled her closer and claimed her lips with his own.
Oh, gods how she loved this man!

"I am sorry Miss. But the beach only opens at noon."
Hermione stared down at the blonde receptionist. She cocked her head to the side and smiled rather strained.
"It is Ma'am, not Miss. Or have I made a mistake when I said I am married?" Hermione spoke through her teeth.
"So sorry," the receptionist sputtered,"Ma'am."
"Good. As for my other request," Hermione continued,"my husband and I would like to go to the beach and enjoy our honeymoon. Now."
"I'm truly sorry ma'am. But the beach is not open yet. You will have to wait until noon," the receptionist answered unsurely.
"Listen," Hermione started.
"My love," Severus said as he pulled his wife toward him,"leave the poor woman. She is only doing her job."
"Ugh!" Hermione threw her hands into the air and turned on her heel, making her way outside.
"Truly sorry," Severus said to the blonde behind the counter as he ran after his wife.
"Hermione my dear, we could always find something else to do until noon," Severus reasoned as he caught up to her.
She growled just enough for him to hear.
"Like what?" She insisted.
"Well...we could go sightseeing. There is alot to see around here," he suggested with a shrug.
Hermione sighed.
"Fine. But I am not getting on any ferris wheels or high objects," she grumbled softly.
Severus chuckled and kissed her atop her head. He took her hand, leading the way to the bustling city before them.
Hermione laughed as they exited a theme park.
"See? I told you we could enjoy ourselves, love," Severus said as he hooked his arm around her shoulders.
"Okay, fine. You win," Hermione said as she caught her breath.
"Don't I always?" Severus asked as he mocked being hurt.
"No. Not always. Usually I win," Hermione answered with a laugh.
" My dear, I fear you and I have very different recollections about the past in that case,"Severus said with a shrug.
Hermione looked at him with a gaze that would have most wizards on their knees. But no. Not him. Not Severus Snape. He was different and he was hers. She smiled at that thought. Never would she have believed that she would be with him, much less married.
