Sorry it's been a while since I've posted but I'm back.
Mandy's POV
Eating in the outback? Are you kidding me? All I wanted was some cheeseburgers and fries. Not whatever they had here in the "outback". As we got in the car I wondered how my dad knew where to drive to, since we've only been here for I don't know...a good 6 hours.
"Mandy? How do like it?" My mom asked enthusiastically.
How do I like it? I hate it.
"It's okay," I lie through my teeth. Knowing saying the wrong thing could ruin my chance or being allowed to explore this new environment. My dad pulls into this weird place and I just want to stab myself in the eye. This restaurant looked like a place for three year olds. So much color and not enough adults! "You've got to be shitting me?" Realizing it wasn't in my head I swore.
"Excuse your language Mandy!" my dad says as we are fully parked and about to leave.
"Sorry," I mumble to him. If I didn't wanna be the weird new American girl in school I'm pretty sure I was not supposed to go here. Jeez. Social suicide.

Mandy's parents are trying to punish her?? Maybeeeee! Stay tuned. Sorry that this chapter was short I just needed a filler. :(
