Chapter 8

Andrew's P.O.V.

I was so nervous. We're sitting here, waiting to be called by the Elder. And I'm having second thoughts. Like, does it really matter if I found my mate a month before I was supposed to?

" Yes it does. Cause, you don't feel the pull. And I read, even if you found your mate months before your suppose to, you still feel the strong pull. It's rare that it happens but sometimes it does. So, it's not normal for you not to feel it. That's why the Elder is going to help us." Baba said, tightening his grip around me.

I looked at him with a glare, " Can you not read my mind? I would like to think about things without my mate in there with me." I gave him a hard glare.

He chuckled and kissed my cheek, " Sorry love. I was trying to see for myself, and just happen to see what you were thinking. Plus, you were nervous. So, I had to see if you were ok." My glare soften. I sighed.

" It's ok. Just.... Don't scare me like that when I'm thinking. It makes me feel like I got no thinking time." He chuckled a little, while giving me a peck on the lips.

" Again, sorry." I nodded, just as the Elder came out.

" You two can come in." We both stand up, and grabbed Baba's hand in mine.

I was still shaking and nervous. I mean, think about it. Wouldn't you be scared and nervous if you had to go see or do something that you had a bad experience with in the past? Like... I just can't get over the fact that the one time I was with an Elder, it ruined my life. It's still crazy to me. It wasn't the Elders fault. But it had something to do with it. So, it's just a bad experience altogether.

" You two can sit down. You guys what something to drink?" We both shake our heads 'no,' " Ok let's get started."

Baba's P.O.V

The Elder gave Andrew a sleeping position. She told him to lay down.

" Sova mitt barn och låt mig I dina minnen. (Sleep my child and let me in your memories)"

The Elder said, in some language I don't know. But, I watched as Andrew fell asleep fast. More like past the fuck out after the word's the Elder said.

She got up and hooked Andrew up to some machine.

" What is that for?" I asked the Elder.

She finish hooking him up before speaking, " Oh, this is a machine that is going to give us a picture of his past. The position is going to help with that." Just as she said that, the TV thing shown a little boy.

Tears came out of Andrew's eye's. The thought of Andrew being sad, made me want to cuddle him in my arms, and never wanting to let go. How could they do that to him!? Fucking assholes! It made me so angry that not one, but three people that are his PARENT'S, hurt him like that! Like what the fuck!

" Did you know about this?"

I shook my head, " No. But, I remember he balled his eyes out when I mentioned his Birthday...."

She nodded, " Hmm.." She got up and unhooked Andrew.

" What does this mean..?" I asked as I sat by Andrew, grabbing his hand softly as he was still asleep.

" I'm not sure. But I think since he was rejected by the people he trusted the most, It's hard for him to love again. But I know he loves you. Just you wait till he turns 18. The love will be strong. I think the Moon goddess let him meet you before because she thought having a month before he comes of age would help him emotionally and physically. Also so you guys can build that trust early on." I nodded slowly.

" So..... It's a good thing?"She nodded and smiled.

" Oh yes my dear. That means you are going to make him happier in the next month. Than again... Something is going to happen that is going to hurt him emotionally. Which you're going to need to be there for him. It's something his wolf and him can not handle on their own."

I gave her a questionable look, " What's going to happen?"

" I can not tell you, cause I don't know myself. All I can tell you is that you need to be there for when that time comes. And everyday tell then, you must build trust so he knows he has someone there for him."

I nodded and smiled, " Thank you Elder. I appreciate. I would've never known, without your help."

She smiled, " No problem Alpha Baba. I will always be here to help." I smiled, real big. " He should be up in an hour or so." I nodded and picked up my mate.

Andrew's P.O.V (Again)

~~~~ An hour or so later~~~~~

I woke up, in mine and Baba's bed. He told me to call it our bed, since I'm his mate now. I don't mind, but I just don't want him to think he needs to make everything that's his, mine as well. I can do well as long as I have him.

" Morning beautiful." I heard the voice that sent shivers down my spine. I felt the bed dip, and felt Baba rubbing my back. " You sleep well?"

" Hmmm" I said rubbing my eyes.

Baba chuckled, " I'm going to take it as a, ' Leave me alone sexy. I'm still half asleep. But I love you.' Yup! Sounds about right!"

I giggled and smiled big, " Something like that sexy."

He chuckled, " You hungry?" I nodded " Ok let me get you some food." He kissed my head and headed down the stairs. I heard my phone buzz. I opened it up and saw a texts from my group chat with Theo and Blake.

B- ' ANDREW! THEO! HELP!'

T- ' Blake what do you want!? Mom said she wants you home.'

A- ' Shh Theo. Let the kid speak.'

T- ' 😒 You're lucky I love you Andrew. Or else I would so tell you out! Anyways, What is your problem bro?'

B- ' Robinson just told me that Baba's birthday party this Friday...'

T- ' Yeah little hoe! We know.'

B- ' ANDREW! THEO'S BEING MEAN AGAIN!'

A- ' Ok ok you two. Theo, don't be a little shit. Now, say sorry.'

T- ' Uhg fine. I'm sorry you're a hoe.'

A- ' Close enough. Anyways.... Why are you worried about.'

B- ' I don't know what to get him...'

A- ' I see.... Why don't we go to the mall after school. I still got to get him something. But, let's tell the boys were just going to 'hang out.' So we 3 can just go. Bestie time!'

T- ' Sounds good to me!'

B- ' I think they all have practice tomorrow. So we don't have to lie about going.'

A- ' Awesome! See you guys tomorrow!'

I smiled. Man, I swear those two seem like they are related more than we think. I sometimes have a hard time thinking they are step brothers. I closed my phone, just as Baba came in with a sandwich and chips for me and him both.

" Thank you." He smiled, giving me a sandwich. He kissed my lips.

" No problem baby."

After we were done eating, it was getting late. We decided to call it a night since we have to go to school tomorrow. I snuggled into my mates chest and let the darkness take me over. Not after think, how lucky I am to have him as my mate.
