"Is this a dream?" I wondered to myself.

Every step I took sounded like walking on a pile of leaves in the windy fall. I start to breath even heavier every-time I took a step and heard the crackling sounds of my footsteps getting closer to something. Every thing looks like a fairy tale, just, 'upside down,' a cloudy gloomy dark sky surrounding a dark forest of trees in different sizes, some are even cut apart and chopped into pieces. I knew this wasn't normal. The trees were filled with a sticky sap.

Strangled in my thoughts of how I was going to get out of this nightmare, I accidentally step on an egg,

"Disgusting" I whispered.

The egg was filled with the same sap located in the trees and now was stuck on my foot, just like the whites of an egg, leading to a sound I've never heard before, I heard the sound getting closer and closer every time, I knew it heard I was here, I ran, and every second passed like it had been two minutes already, I ran for my life, it was coming towards me, I didn't know what, and I didn't want to know, because if I turned my back for a slight millisecond I knew it was over for me.

***

I panicked, and the more I panicked the more I kept breathing heavily, the heavier, the lighter my head got, and that's what happened, suddenly I tripped with something, a flashlight! I speeded to hook my hands into the flashlight, it was my lucky day, but not so much cause that monster was still chasing me, but I couldn't see it anymore, and I couldn't turn my flashlight on because it could attract the monster towards me, it will know where I am, and I can't to that, it will let the monster have more advantage and a disadvantage for me in the other hand.

After minutes of walking with my mind full of worries I somehow end up facing front of a old wooden rusty tent with a sign saying, "Castle Byers" I went in and found a backpack, the backpack handed me with batteries, a medical aid, a walkie talkie and a military pocket knife. All I needed to defend myself against that creature. When I was ready to get out of the tent I heard footsteps, really fast footsteps, I couldn't let him have me, not today, I handed myself the pocket knife and stared at the tent's door that was covered with a 'white' dirty sheet, My arm was paralyzed  pointing the knife to the sheet. I was trembling, But nothing was happening and I wasn't hearing anything anymore so I decided to go out. I could hear whispering in the woods caused by the calm wind. Suddenly a slug as big as my hand falls out of the tents roof, I thought it was nothing and kept on going with my escape from this endless hell.

***

The forest was vanishing slowly as every step I took, and I could see the street getting closer every step, but I wasn't out of this world yet, I was still in the dark cloudy nightmare, ashes in the sky like the end of a big fire had just happened. I entered my old middle school, it was empty, haunted looking, and grey, it looked like zombies had taken over, plant roots where all over walls invading the rusty buildings. I was starving, I went to the cafeteria and found old chocolate pudding in the fridge, it was better than nothing anyways, it was better than starving to death in this place where a creature could strike at any moment. I heard a growling sound near the gym, and they gym was connected to the kitchen, this school was a maze basically. I ran before the creature could be near me and that was a poor decision from me, it heard me once again, I ran as rapidly as I could, you could call me sonic at is point but the creature was hungry and ready to tear someone apart (AKA me) "If I don't turn around I will never see what I'm up against me," I thought to myself. I took a really deep breath while I was running away. "I'm not afraid!" I exclaimed, as I turned around to see what had waited for me. My eyes opened wider and wider every second I stared at it, and the more I became afraid. It's the Demogorgon.
