"The drive-in closing is just one more nail in the coffin that is Riverdale. No, forget Riverdale, in the coffin of the American Dream." Jughead stammered out angrily. "As the godfather of indie cinema, Quentin Taratino, likes to say-"

"Please...God, no more Quentin Taratino references," Kevin interrupted him, not wanting to hear another reference from him. Manic chuckled a bit.

"What, I'm pissed and it's not about losing my job. The Twilight Drive-In should mean something to us. People should be trying to save it," he shot back.

"Yeah, I have some of my best memories there," Manic chimed in. "Lolo, remember when we poured chocolate syrup inside Reggies pants when we were in the 7th grade?"

Lola laughed at the memory. "Yeah, best day ever."

"In this age of Netflix and VOD, do people really want to watch a movie with in a car?" Veronica questioned. "I mean who even goes there?"

"People who want to buy crack," Kevin said.

"Classic movie lovers like me," Lola defended the place she's loved.

"And cinephiles, and car enthusiasts. Right, Bets?" Jughead added on, looking at Betty, who was sitting at the other side of Lola.

Betty looked as if she was in deep thought. She looked up, noticing that she had all eyes on her. "Yeah. Totally."

"Anyways, it's closing because the town owns it, but didn't invest in it. So when a so called anonymous buyer made Mayor McCoy an offer she couldn't refuse." Jughead ruefully comtinued.
