Chapter 12: Saved
It was starting to get dark as Neiko moved through a small warehouse he made his way to a window and looked out across the street "alright guys we need to head in don't want to be out here at night: a man said and they left Neiko knew it would be hard to move at night but it was his only chance so he began to walk "wait we found a locked house that isn't locked on the map" a man yelled

The door knob rattled then came a kick she knew it was about to get dark so she was going to wait to open fire until the person came inside
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neiko ran a good distance behind the five men running to what was most likely CasCades hideout the men began to slow down they came to a stop in front of a small white house he was about a block away he had 37 rounds in his rifle he waited to see what the men were going to do one man began to kick the door when the door finally opened gunfire came out of it

CasCade fired three rounds into the mans chest she saw 4 men behind him they opened fire CasCade dove through a doorway into the kitchen bullets flew through the windows and weak spots in the walls but then another gunshot came from a distance the gunfire was directed away from the house for a few minutes then the gunshots stopped CasCade walked into the living room one of the men were still alive he shot CasCade in the stomach and leg before Neiko walked in the door and shot the man in the head "CasCade" Neiko gasped she was lying on the floor holding her stomach and moaning in pain "shit come on" Neiko said as he lifted her into his arms and started to walk but it was getting dark quick so Neiko walked back to the house and set CasCade down on a bed and went downstairs and grabbed a knife, some rubbing alcohol, and bandages he ran back upstairs Neiko lifted CasCades shirt took the rubbing alcohol Ripped some of the bed sheet poured the rubbing alcohol on it and cleaned the the wound he also poured the alcohol on the knife "this is going to hurt like hell" Neiko explained CasCade grabbed Neiko's arm and squoze as Neiko dug the knife into her stomach to get the bullet he sewed up the wound "now your leg"

The three men ran through the corn field as fast as they could it was dark and hard to keep together but the just stayed away from the sound of zombies

CasCade woke with sunlight flooding the room she stood up and could feel some pain "oh don't walk just lay back down you are not in good enough condition to walk" Neiko said walking through the door "how did you find me" CasCade asked "those guys gave it away sorry we didn't come back to get you sooner" Neiko explained "where are the others" CasCade wondered "they are waiting for us the last thing i wanted was five people stumbling through a city" Neiko explained

"good god i am board when are they going to get here" Brayden said with his feet on the dashboard of the truck "would you shut up it is a little hard in the middle of the Apocalypse to find someone don't exactly have cell service T-Mobile hasn't serviced their towers" Jeronimo complained "god you two just never stop fighting its like your married" Sara said "you can just be quiet" Brayden orded "no you shut up i am tired of listening to you wine" Sara yelled "god I'm done" Brayden yelled as he opened the door and stepped out he slammed the door behind him "hey what is going on" Neiko said helping CasCade walk to the truck "Nieiko CasCade hey guys i was thinking you were dead" Brayden exclaimed
