Chapter 2

Will's P.O.V.

I walked slowly down the hall of the new school I'd be attending. I stopped walking and reminded myself that this place wasn't really new to me. You see I had lived here about two hundred years ago when this place was actually classified as a castle. I had so many memories that I built into this place whether they were good ones or bad. I had memories of....her. With her long brunette hair and delicate but fierce features. How could I forget? It used to be just me and her. Just William and Ariel. We were the most romantic couple back in those days. And we have for been for as long as I could remember.

As I had let my thoughts wander I had began to walk again and I now found myself standing at the door of my first class. I opened the door trying to be quiet as I possibly could as I slipped into the class room. Then I saw her....my beloved Ariel, that I haven't seen since her death after her seventeenth birthday two hundred years ago.

The teacher looked up from his desk to look at me menacingly and said. "Excuse me, can you explain why you're interrupting my class?"

"I'm the new student." I said politely.

"Oh  well you must be William Baker." The teacher said as he stood.

"Yes sir although I do prefer to go by Will." I said hoping he'd hurry up and tell me where I was going to sit in this class room.

The teacher pointed to an empty desk next to Ariel who looked as beautiful as she always had. I walked over to my desk and sat down as I pretended to listen to the teacher's lecture but I just let my mind wander.
