Chapter Fourteen - In which the blood hits

JASON'S P.O.V:

The smell of blood hit my noses trill like thunder. "Tan and you others get in the car and Justin follow me." "Jason, what is it?" She turned her head in the direction of the scream.

"The smell of blood" I whispered in her ear and she let out a gasp.

"Get in the car guys, now!"

"Justin follow me. Now."

We started walking and the others got in the car.

The street was laid in darkness the only light was from the faint lights of the street lamps and the full moon.

The smell of blood got thicker and Justin was shaking, "it stinks like shit..."

"The smell is strong, so we should be there soon"

Justin looked at me, "you do realise that this could be dangerous! And that you have a mate, that'll be heartbroken if you die."

"I know that, but in order to protect her I need to take a look at this."

He just nodded and we kept walking until we were walking down a dead ally, until we heard voices.

"..... I could smell her just a few minutes ago! I swear it was her scent!"

"But this is NOT the girl we are looking for you dìck."

Those voices, I've heard them before. We walked further down the alley and hid behind a trashcan and they kept walking until we all heard a squeal and someone saying, "I got the girl."

TANYA'S P.O.V:

I saw as they walked away as my nervousness grew. "I just can't let them go, what if one of them is hurt? Or worse killed?!" Steffen held me tight, "don't worry Tan. Those guys are more tougher than they look"

I looked out of the window of the car again and saw that they weren't there. "I'm sorry, but I have to go" I opened the door and ran out. "TANYA!" I looked behind me to see Steffen with a pained expression.

I ran down the alley while I was thinking the worst.

I heard voices from down one of the alleys and walked down that alley, "..... I could smell her just a few minutes ago! I swear it was her scent!"

Her scent?

I heard footsteps from behind me, "what they say is true" a deep and masculine voice said. I turned around and looked at a man in a black cloak and red glowing piercing eyes. "You are the gril Katherine is talking about. I felt a shiver run down my spine, "I don't know what you're talking about!"

"Don't worry dear, we won't hurt you, much." His voice was ice cold and hard. Shivers of fear ran down my spine.

I started to walking backwards, while he looked at me with his red eyes. And not to my luck I was trapped between him and a solid brick wall.

He wrapped his arms around my waist and placed his head in the crook of my neck and sniffed, "you smell like heaven. But I wonder how you taste" I could feel the tips of his fangs against my skin, "but if I'm biting you now there won't be any fun, when I'm going to torture your precious Jason."

And with that he walked to the edge of the alley, "I got the girl." Four pairs of heads turned around in our direction, "you got her!" The man to the left said and looked at his friend, "but what about the plan?" The man at the right said.

"Right now, we won't do anything to her or them" the cloaked man said, while pressing me further into his rock hard body. The suddenly there were a loud growl.

"Let. Her. GO!"

Jason jumped. Barring his fangs at the cloaked guy and he turned around taking me with him.
