Chapter 1- Alice Sue

Alice pov

Hi, my name is Alice and I go to a school called Goode High. I'm on the swimming team and actually enjoy it. I have brown hair and brown eyes. I'm kinda plain, but that's okay because I like how I look.

Anyway, on the swim team there is this amazing swimmer! His name is Percy Jackson. He has a nice swimmers built, sea- green eyes, and wind swiped black hair! If that isn't enough he has a great personality and is humble too.

I don't have a crush on him or anything. I'm just his friend, you see I'm asexual and I'm not looking for a relationship at the moment.

At first this swimming practice seemed normal, but it got weird fast. Percy as it seemed was out of his game as they say. He looked tired and you could see the scars more clearly today, but when he hit the water he seemed to come alive. I asked him to a swim race and of course he won, but he told me some ways to make myself go faster. I smiled a thank you and continued practice.

After practice was over he came up to me and asked, "Would you like to go out for coffee with me and a couple of my friends to talk about swimming and stuff." I was a little shocked. Did he just ask me on a date.

He looked at me for a moment and said, "But not on a date, I have a girlfriend and she will be there. Just as friends."

I thought for a moment and said, "Sure!" After all we both wanted to join the Olympics. And he probably just wanted to talk about that.

It was the next day and it was time to go out for coffee with Percy and his friends. I walked to the small coffee shop and saw Percy sitting at a booth with his arm around a girl with blond curly hair and calculating gray eyes. I smiled and waved as I walked in. He waved back of course.

I walked and got the coffee I wanted then walked to the booth that he and the girl sat in. I then noticed on the other side was a girl with brown hair that was kinda choppy and had a feather in it. Her eyes were always changing color. She was very breathtaking. All other them were in fact.

As I was about to sit down a blond boy with a military like hair cut came and sat down by the girl. He smiled at me and I noticed that he had a small scar in his lip along with dazzling electric blue eyes.

I then pulled up a chair and Percy said pointing to the blond, "This is my girlfriend Annabeth."

I smiled and shook her hand and said, "My name is Alice."

He pointed to the girl across from him and said, "This is my good friend, Piper!"

I smiled and waved at her. Next, he pointed to the blond boy and said, "This is Jason my bro ham."

I shook his hand and the girl that I now knew as Annabeth asked, "How do you know each other?"

He smiled and said, "We are swimming buddies!"

I smiled and nodded again. The next thing I know the guy that was manning the counter ran by one fire. Piper raised an eyebrow and shook her head laughing then said, "Classic Leo!"

They then just continued their conversation like someone being in fire was a daily thing!

And that is how I met Percy Jackson's crazy friends!
